Jesus isn't God. God is God.

He is a muslim. We muslims believe in Jesus as a prophet of God, one of the most beloved prophets among all muslims. We don't believe that he is the son of God, or that he is God himself. But be assured we do believe in God, the most gracious and merciful. Just not in the form of The Holy Trinity, as our christian brothers and sisters believe in. ~ All in good faith Rachael =-)

Not all people who pray are Christians, and ours is a secular government--and must remain so. Many people pray to God, including Christians, Jews, Muslims, and people of other faith. You and I as Christians (I assume you are because of your comment) are of course allowed to include the name of Jesus in our prayers, but that doesn't mean that everyone must.

You would think representing the USA, they could have done better then having a Muslim open up in prayer. How about someone who at least believes that Jesus died on the cross and it has substance. The majority of Americans at the least believe that, whether they live out their faith or not. Yet they bring someone in that gives no regards to the basic belief of Americans at a presidential convention.
One day tho, Jesus will return and declare once and for all He is Lord.
