Not usually one to leave comments, but had to give you props for an incredibly entertaining and informative video! Doesn’t hurt I learned some new ways to use my own Golden Fleece from this
Fuzz has been my favorite effect sense I started playing guitar at 13 years old. But it’s either your favorite thing or your least favorite thing. It changes your playing. I got Zach to sign my Golden Fleece too so that’s awesome.
Loving these vids, the cinematics are great and staying for the in-depth reviews is essential. Bravo, man, this is excellent work! Subscribed and happy that I did, honest reviews that are fun to watch.

Your style is terrific and your content is great. You have the skills to demo everything you hear in a piece of gear (even if we can't hear the nuances) and you go into depth to do so. Additionally, you are able to bring out tones which might not occur to others to look for in a pedal. I didn't think I would ever have a use for a fuzz but I'm re-thinking that now. Loved the riff on "just another CZcamsr". Smartass fuzz.
He’s got quite an attitude doesn’t he? I wanted to bring another “voice” to the skits to make them feel a bit more dynamic. Having a back and forth, even when comedic, can help build structure around subjects that require nuance and subtlety. Also, i always think having a sidekick is just plain funny. I'm an oldie, I grew up in the 80s and 90s loving Pink Floyd. But I only realised that DG used fuzz a lot when I began to play guitar myself in 2019. So I think there might be other pple out there still, who love fuzz but they just don't know that they do.

Haha. This is awesome. Fuzz for me is the pedal you have to play to. It’s a great riff pedal. But I couldn’t get it to work for me when playing chords. It sounds awesome when used properly
Brilliant. The amount of work that went into this is obvious. Sounds great, looks great, and not quite like any other video I’ve seen on similar material. I may have to try just one more fuzz and see if I can get to like it - the tone on the Golden Fleece with the volume rolled off sounded great - especially with the ts in front. Too often demos show the fuzz with everything cranked or withthe volume backed off completely, with little in between. Your channel deserves a lot more subscribers. There are just a handful of guitar and gear channels I watch for both entertainment and to learn something. Just added this to my list. And the talking fuzz is hilarious.
Stoked that you’re digging the videos. I really am trying to hit all those marks you mentioned. Have great sound, interesting questions posed, and finally, weird skits! Haha. The Golden Fleece is a great simple fuzz pedal that is really good for someone that just needs a quick fuzz tone.

I had to buy a noise gate just because my Walrus Audio Fundamental Fuzz man, and you are right, I fight with the little black and golden box every week, like, its you! you are making all this noise, and then a solo and all sinks in again, but now I will roll stuff off. My husband thought the intro to this video was so hilarious, he stopped me from making breakfast so I could watch it haha. The intro was ridiculously creative and funny! You should make a separate short and reel with JUST that and title it something like 'What my guitar pedal would say if it could talk' haha. Great video :)

The fuzz sounds so good I have it but the true bypass switch popping when engaging it and disengaging it is so loud though I may have to sell it because of that as audio recordings pick up it’s popping
I love some of those tones, i should try it out again. you forgot wah and fuzz. i kinda of really like the clean up tones of fuzz. but, i do love the smashing pumpkins fuzz, but i seem to kringe when i try it. i use a mesa single rec, it may not work as nicely with fuzz maybe. anyway, great informative video with cool humour.
I use mine with a Matchless and an L5 IR (loaded into my HR Gigboard) and it sounds great. I've played some fuzzes before and this is my favorite one knob fuzz for sure.
They have said in a confusing way that it’s both neither and both haha. I am not sure what that means but they use NOS diodes apparently. Not affected by heat as far as I can tell!
@SuperdangerStudios I'll go one more. I love to mix fuzz and overdrive to get what I call sticky tone. Listen to Spanish Castle Magic from Live at the Isle of Wight....Jimi of course....I dont think he was happy with his sound that night but I liked it.

I have the Argonaut and a home built fuzz face, I think they gave my chorus pedal a black eye yesterday. I’m going to love watching this channel.

Yes! Every example the fuzz is before everything, even the buffer and tuner.

For me Fuzz is one of those pedals I still find useless. Overdrive and distortion is enough to be confused about.
