The song that's played several times thru out the movie, when the boys are in bathroom at the airport, when Todd plugs up the radio before he dies, and when the teacher puts it on while packing is ominous because the singer John Denver died in an airplane crash.
While he was flying a homebuilt aircraft, so it wasn't particularly unusual in itself - 'general aviation'(non-commercial flights) / private pilots crash far more often.
I think the actor who plays Alex did a great job especially in the plane scene when he’s yelling “the planes gonna explode” it freaks me out every time I see it
The best things about Final Destination: 1) Tony Todd, 2) oh, look at all those ordinary household objects that you will never want to have around you again, lest you risk a gruesome death

When Alex rescues Clear, the wire originally electrocutes him and he dies from the fire. It cuts ahead showing Clear has given birth to Alex's son (Alex and Clear had sex on the beach). Clear reunites with Carter at the Flight 180 memorial on a bright day, believing they won the chance of a "full life". Another ending involved a police helicopter crashing, decapitating Alex.
Okay y'all done it now!!! This is by far one of the best old school movies! Your in for a wild ride cause I know your gonna watch the other 4 movies. Soooooo excited 😬😬😬😬

In a cut plot line Alex and Clear end up having a kid and Alex dies in the end being electrocuted. They ended up cutting it but the idea of "new life" being created that wasn't supposed to exist causing death to give up was used in the second movie.

If I remember correctly the kid that plays Alex actually almost got hit by the bus at the end cuz he missed his mark or something. And the woman that played the teacher was actually in the house when it was on fire. They had her under the floor and her head sticking out of a hole in the floor and stuck a fake body on the floor so the knife can go through it. I think they lite only certain parts of the kitchen on fire for the shot and had guys close by with fire extinguishers or whatever though. I think she said something like she was happy they were trying to be safe about it but it still freaked her out a little cuz if something went wrong she would still be stuck under the floor so she had to put a lot trust in the guys with fire extinguishers. KEYWORD IS THINK!!! Its been a while since I watched the actors commentary on the DVD. I hope they got paid alot for this movie if thats true though!!!!!!!
this movie is a good old classic for me,and it has many known faces .the lead actor is the guy who is in eminems video stan,the mortician plays in the candyman movie and the guy who was capitated by the train played stiffler in american pie:)i think the final destination 3 is the most fun to watch.

On a flight from FL back to Philly. The weather was a little rocky with turbulence. And I always have my belt on during the flight. And not even 2 seconds after I tightened it. The plane hit a big turbulence and the plane dropped enough to lift me out of my seat. And caused people to scream.

The movie that started the sequels and prequel off and even more coming this was something fresh what I like about the Final Destination franchise is that there is no killer killing people the killer is Death itself killing people and manipulating the environment this wasn't even suppose to been a franchise but this movie was so well received it had to have more movies expanding the story it has a good premise which why I love the movies I hope we get more we are getting a sixth movie though.
the 6th movie has to be good... the concept is really good
