Honestly, I can see Kathryn Hahn playing a character in Heartstopper. In another universe, she could've been Charlie or Nic's mom.

Coming from the tiny IoM with no professional acting experiences but a raw shining talent, insane work ethic and a will and wish to fulfill, debuting on stage and screen in the same year, nominated and awarded for both .... from Netflix to Marvel, from off West End to Broadway... aged 20 now. I'm so happy to see his star rise high and higher! Joe, we are so proud of you.

When I first saw the trailer for Heartstopper I was annoyed with the “hi” all over but then I read the graphic novels and then watched the series and I’m impressed by Joe’s success! Way to go!
There are a lot of you who think quite similiar. Many people think badly of Joe's Charlie portrayal without ever having read the comics and knowing he does this "shy-bullied-selfhating-unsure-anxious-I-cannot-believe-someone-espNickNelson-loves-me" in a nearly perfect manner.
