Hey... thanks again for the great examples. Would you say that Sodium Hydroxide can replace Sodium Hypochlorite altogether or only in the case of cleaning oil spills?
I would say no ,I use sodium hydroxide for grease oil fuel diesel etc etc and sodium hypochlorite for organic like algae mold and things of that nature

I will have to go back and look and see who made this for me. It was over a year ago. I think I paid around $30 for it and found them on Facebook. I will check it out and see, there is a lot of people advertising for these they are called digital logo designers.

would a NorthStar 10gpm 24v pump be close to that or nowhere near? I never used a gas soft wash system and I'm trying to decide if I should go with 24v or a gas system.

I use a standard 8 GPM rated x jet and I do not use any of the tips on the end I run it with none so it’s wide open 👌

Hey man! Been watching your videos all winter as I prepare for this pressure washing journey. I am trying to center on commercial gas stations and fast food. May I ask what you charge for a gas station? I want to get them reoccurring, like monthly. And you say you use how much Sodium hydroxide when you Xjet? Do you increase the strength of it when you xjet? Because xjet dilutes the sodium hydroxide right?
Yes it dilutes it 👍 I am gonna make some videos on down streaming it when I return to CZcams on a free weeks. I tool a 30 day break so stay tuned 👀 for a MAJOR COMEBACK
I stay between 8-15 cents usually per sq ft
What hot water pressure washer do you recommend sir?
There’s lots of options , we like pressure pro units cause they have been around awhile and proven ,as far as hot boxes there’s several options - 8 of 10 gpm also plays a factor also in pricing and temps 👌 there’s lots of em- we have a few largo units we run

Yes 👍
Do you need a water tank to wash gas stations?
Yes to run anything over a 4 GPM unit I would recommend a bigger tank so you don’t starve your pressure washing unit for water 💦

Yes, you can use cold water and sodium hydroxide buddy no problem at all
I’d mix about a lb of caustic soda to a gallon of cold water at the most for the worst stains and less for lighter stains, and remember on all of your organic stains, like algae you use sodium hypochlorite! Sodium hydroxide is only for non-organic. Stay in touch and happy holidays.

We charge let sq ft on most but contracted work we ALWAYS give major discounts for 🤝
What’s average price for you to do a gas station of this size ?
We run between 10 and $.20 per square foot
We also have a minimum and that if the gas station is small, we have a percent we charge across-the-board so it’s clear for our clients and our sales team.
We have a minimum for residential and commercial
I think it’s important that you have a minimum that you charge so you can know what your numbers are always and it helps the bidding process.
I have never seen anyone clean with lye before.
It’s actually the main ingredient in most Caustic degreasers
