The most wonderful words in the language: Ladies and gentlemen, aloha and welcome to paradise. The local time is irrelevant and the weather is perfect.
Damn for sure. I went to Mexico with a group of friends and the second we stepped foot out of the van and on the resort they said "welcome to paradise". Holy shit it hits me 😔
"Takeoff..." from a very young aviation enthusiast... (at 19:19) followed by that loveliest of ALL aviation sounds - "Ding” - which will always mean, at least for me, "You're in the air, son..." I miss this SO MUCH (I used to fly every year from Helsinki to LA to visit my parents) and I thank you so very much for your superlative (high-res.!) in-flight camera work... simply BREATHTAKING! Mike D. ;)
I'm glad you enjoy the content my friend. Thanks for watching!
Love that!!
That means positive rate/gear up!
The approach into HNL looks EPIC!
So awesome!! Thank you for the experience . Excellently done😊
Excellent buddy keep it up full flight videos.
Beautiful takeoff and landing. Amazing views
Your videos are amazing!
Wonderful! Many thanks.
Beautiful day for flying out of Seattle today.
Lovely SEA and HNL weather, a real treat in this one!
I do love it so much! Don't get ta do it that often but,it's always a treat. I love to watch you channel to get my aviation nerd fix! Thank you! My nephew is a SW pilot.
I love your videos with all the excellent views👍👍!! This the best one !!
Glad you like them my friend! Thanks for watching!
Nice! Those upgrades on the A330 definitely improve her overall looks, IMO.
Damn that approach was beautiful ❤️
Wow!!
Good views of West Seattle. Good views of Vashon Island. Good view of Blake Island. Good view of Gig Harbor. Good view of Tacoma and Pt. Defiance Park. Good view of Fox, McNeil, Anderson and Ketron Island. Good views of the South Sound. Good views of Rainier. Good views of the Black Hills. Good view of the Chehalis River Valley. Good views of the Willapa Hills.
Excellent views of Willapa Bay and Long Beach!
Good view of the mouth of the Columbia River. That's all of the water from the entire Columbia River Drainage System emptying out into the Pacific Ocean. Good views of the Oregon Coast.
And fantastic views of Oahu coming into HNL!! Loved the late afternoon lightning.
Yes, I did fill out the required forms. Yes, I did follow all instructions given by the flight crew.
Now... it's time for me to rest up from the 3 hour time difference that hit me below the belt - Oof!
Well spotted.
Seatac flies both north bound and south bound departures depending on weather and wind. This was a unique north bound with crystal clear visibility.
34:41 Aberdeen, hometown of Kurt Cobain 🎸
Superb landing totally enjoyed that long flight. Thx!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love your channel
Nice flight I like the way the plane landed on the runway that was a smooth approach, hope you had sade flight to HNL. One day I'm traveling to HNL
beautiful scenery. WOW!
Як завжди дуже чудове відео! 🌻🌻🌻 As always a very great video!
Nice flight. Next time I'll request a window seat.
BREATHTAKING approach into HNL on a gorgeous plane✈️!😎👍✌️
Damnn 5 Hour Vids, I watch ur vids like 6-7 Hours subscribed👍. Good luck making lot of videos right this.
Glad you like them!
Another FANTASTIC video!!! 5 hours holding the phone! WOW
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching my friend!
Wow, the approach was awesome.
Beautiful engine sound 🤩
this is why i need to travel more often cuz i want to see amazing views like that
Really awesome!
That boy went fast up there!
You were damn right on your IG, this is your best one :)
Thanks for watching my friend!
I returned from Hawaii 2 weeks ago. Great food. Nice local people. Keck Observatory on the Big island that's a must-go. I had the time of my life there.
Great views of HNL
Thank you for keeping the cam steady and not moving it all over the place. Many videos are spoiled due to flailing cameras making everyone dizzy. Besides, the “experience” or focus of the video to me is totally about the travel in the air, not the cabin anyway, so well done!
My friend that is a therapist told me to watch these videos to help reduce my fear of flying and I hope it helps bc I have a flight coming up and I want to cancel it so bad
A lot of people have commented on my videos saying that they've done the same thing. Many have also said it helped! I hope it helps!
A different approach into HNL than most flights from the mainland.
nice video my friend im like it
Amazing work! It confirms my wish that on comfort alone Hawaiian would have gone the way of the A330-900.
The A330 NEO is piece of jewel for Delta and nice addition to their fleet along the flagship A350 and the babybus A220, quieter cabins with augmented comfort.
do all of them have entertainment? i will be flying to nyc with the a330 941 and was wondering if i need my own movies
@@mm15x71 All A330 are fittes with IFE, so you have variety of entertainment movies, series, music...
they just need a replacement for their older 767-300er. The problem is: the closest replacement has a problem. The 330-800neo is not selling well at all and it is too big to operate and advanced, and the 787-8 whit is the best option, Delta has problems with Boeing whit the chances that they get are very low. So they are stuk
VERY GOOD
Very nice
2x4x2 seating is IMO the best widebody seating....no middle seats for the WIN. I really like the A330 Neos I can't wait to get a ride on them and the A350s! Thanks for sharing as always!
EDIT What a cool split OUTBOARD Flap-eron I've never seen that before!
sorry, but the beat seats have it the Boeing 767 whit 2-3-2. The a330 is the second wide body then the 350
@@sergiolaurencio7534 I love the 76 but not if I got that dreaded middle seat in the 3 seat section.. I dont know it's a weird feeling being in that seat to me 😆 When there's 4 seats it doesn't make you feel so "isolated" as there's 2 of you sharing the "middle" You have to remember A330 also has a cabin that is 2 feet wider than 76.
...very, very, very good!
Nice A330 Neo :)
Extremely awesome work - Well Done!
I really love the sound of the plane Engine turning on it’s my fav is that plane a delta Airbus A330 I seen them types of airbuses in uk there’s a lot of different types of planes like the Airbus A330 and Boeing 47 and the Boeing 407
Imagine to see Skylite Productions on the Flightradar24 when he is flying every planes😅. Or we will see him on the Flightradar24 when he is on 330NEO😏.
Anyway...? Nice Flight out there and hope you enjoy it very much. I hope one day I will stay on a330nei too🤩!
That airplane looks spanking new. Wings and ailerons clean as a whistle.
at first when the plane was landing i saw the view outside and i was like "is this Honolulu" because he used to be on the right side of the aircraft. it was just spectacular.
I do typically sit on the other side of the plane when flying to HNL. This is because the sun tracks across the southern sky in the northern hemisphere. I don't want to stare at the sun for 5-10 hours. And trust me, neither do you haha. However, due to the time of day, time of year when I took this flight, and since it departed from a city much farther north than usual, it actually was better to sit on the left side for this flight. I use multiple sites to reference the sun's position in the sky when planning what seat I want for a flight. Those include, timeanddate.com, sunflight.net, and suncalc.net.
That person that watched from the beginning to the end :)
I'm flying ......... to Honolulu too. In my dreams 🙃🤩
Finally something new🤔
Watched/listened to the entire video!!! Really enjoyed the views along the way and the spectacular evening lighting at the end!!!
yea of course u watched the entire video xD
@@richiee4736 I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic but if you are, I actually did. (Watch/listen) I was doing my work most of the time excluding the takeoff, approach, and landing.
I'd love to fly on the A330NEO one day. I'll be heading to Seattle next week, I hope the weather can be somewhat similar to this haha.
Update: was a pretty good sky view
Hawaii is a beautiful, original, inviolable Paradise. May no nation ever more violate another nation's or people's sovereignty and human rights!
Great video SP liked and enjoyed👍👍. Also is this your first time flying on an Airbus A330-900?
Thanks my friend. Yes, this was my first time flying the A330 Neo. I really enjoyed it. But, I've always liked the A330/A340 series, so what's not to like about a new engine option version haha.
4:53:03 - Aloha! First views of Oahu's North Shore.
4:55:17 - Kaena Point, the westerly end of Oahu.
What a beautiful aircraft. A330 tested technology but incredibly improved.
I was glad to be on DL450 2/1/2022. They Ditched the A339 for A333. The circle around the north side of Oahu seems RARE. I don't see planes doing that when I look at the incoming flights.. Kaena point: great views I went walking out there.
This was the only time I've ever been on a flight that took this approach. I even took this same flight again a couple months later and we came around the south side like normal. It's definitely special. Thanks for watching my friend!
Very Rare approach Into Honolulu
Only rare if you have only come from SFO/LAX/LAS in the past. Flights from more northerly origins often use this approach.
@@haroldlipschitz9301 Ohhh i see
Hi Traveler !! Any reason to fly to HNL .. I've not seen this particular approach, where they flew around the island and got to see the mountains rising from the Pacific ocean, very beautiful, that we got to see another view of the island from above. The mountains are so green and majestic.
This approach is not unusual in the afternoon for flights arriving from PDX/SEA/YVR/ANC
Nice 🇧🇷✈
I miss Hawaii
Waow! I could really feel the intensity of that landing! .. And those smoking hot brakes was a nice confirmation of the former. Brake fans anyone? :0
That smoke wasn’t involving the brakes. It’s condensation coming from the so called “drain mast”, a protruding tube placed under the engine. Apparently, both the RR Trent XWB and Trent 7000 tend to smoke a lot after landing, you can check that in many other videos.
Btw yes, it’s marvellous how the brakes eat up all that kinetic energy all at once :)
@@turbofanct6679 Interesting, thanks!
My fav delta boy
That’s so wonderful and nice
With what are you filming ?
I currently film everything on my channel with iPhone 12 Pros. I'll be upgrading to the 13 Pro before too long. Thanks for watching!
@@sla31
Thanks a lot
Great fly! Since you upload a lot of videos, what do you do with your old video files after you upload them?
Once everything is edited and uploaded, I transfer everything to external hard drives that I keep stored at home. I currently have over 80,000 GB of external hard drives stored in a closet at my house haha.
You made an excellent Flightsim video sir. Only minor errors I.e. the announcement for cabin crew to prepare for take off was slightly too early. Full flap retraction, slightly too early. Otherwise it was done ✔️
Well I certainly appreciate that my friend. However, this isn't a flight sim video haha. This is a real flight from SEA-HNL as is everything you see on my channel. So, since I am not a crew member I can't take your critiques on to the correct people haha. Thanks for watching!
When you picking the iphone 13 bro?? It will amazing to see even more clarity
Hopefully before the end of the year. It's not a question of if I want it, because I do. It's more a question of finding the $1,800 after tax hahaha.
The little kid at 19:20 take off lol
This makes me want to go on a airplane for some reason
Then it is accomplishing its goal haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
😍😍😍😍
23:14 and 25:00: Man. Mt. Rainier looks amazing! What a sight. Would not wanna be in the Seattle-Tacoma area if that thing ever decides to wake up.
I thought it was Mt St Helens.
About to say that’s a funny looking Boeing
I bet this flight must drag. 5 hours of flying over water, and being excited about getting to Hawaii. The 5 hours must seem like 10.
The wing movie 🎬
I thought you were going to Haneda Airport for a sec
Never seen approach coming from the states rounding Kaena Point before. More familiar approach from the Mainland is entering near Kaneohe, flying on top of Waikiki then the final turn to the east near Barber’s Point to land.
I’ve heard this approach is used more for arrivals from more northern cities like Vancouver, Seattle, Anchorage, etc. Which makes sense. Typically I fly in to HNL from more southern locations. Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, etc. I might have to fly in from the north more often!
@@sla31 I have done HNL from SFO, LAX and DFW and they use the traditional approach. Entering Oahu just south of Kaneohe sometimes overflying Maui and Molokai. By the way didn’t realized that there was a nonstop from Austin to HNL. Who flies that route?
@rhuertas70 Hawaiian Airlines just started flights to and from AUS earlier this year. In fact, I was on the inaugural AUS-HNL flight and you can see it here: czcams.com/video/dCjd2ZbsCYU/video.html
Beautiful video - What did you use to keep your phone steady for 5 hours?
Since I was on the left side of the aircraft in this video, that would be my left arm/hand haha. I hold the camera by hand, even on long flights, to ensure I get the best quality footage possible. Using mounts allows too many vibrations to be transferred into the lens of the camera. It makes it look like you're filming through a clear bowl of jello.
@@sla31 That is incredibly impressive!! Makes me appreciate this video even more.
25:30 - Tacoma Narrows Bridge and Mount Rainier in the distance.
Great video❤can you do a video of a full flight from (JFK) New York to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (SDQ) or to (PUJ) Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 😁
Thanks my friend. At the moment, I don’t have any plans to be in the Dominican Republic, but that doesn’t mean I wont at so point. I appreciate you watching!
@@sla31 😁🙌👍no problem, keep it up👍
4:35:13 That pilot has the most stereotypical "pilot's voice". I've always wondered why so many pilots sound just like that.
Honolulu😍🥰
Have u ever flew in Qartar Doha airlines u should tho and Eithad to
one last video before bed, mum
ITS a majestic view over Honolulu . And during landing was there a wind shift cause i think the pilot landed the plane with right hand side wheels then the left
Not a shift, a gust. A slight crosswind from the NE is typical at HNL and gusts of 10 knots above the usually study breeze are pretty much typical, especially in the afternoon.
@@haroldlipschitz9301 oh okay thnk u soo much
😎
@5:04:37
Thought the palm trees were two cyclists on the runway 😂
23:40 Vashon Island !!
25:53 look under the plane wing left up is that a volcano or a mountain
Still miss the 747.
.....of our Boeing 76 äh sorry our Airbus A 350.....🤭
Two beautiful cities connected with each other in a top notch airplane. Life can be good sometimes.
How about the new A 330 for Hawaiian ?
36:22 - Entering the Pacific Ocean near Willapa Bay. geo:46.67164, -123.99393
Cheers. How on Earth do you have the camera mounted?
I hold the camera by hand, even on long flights like this. I've never been able to find a mount that can deal with the vibrations associated with flying. Both from wind resistance and the engines. When you mount the camera to the window, all of those vibrations get transferred into the mount, and then into the lens of the camera. It makes the footage look like you were filming through a clear bowl of jello. Nothing beats my arms, full of muscle and fat, to help absorb all of those vibrations.
@@sla31 That's pretty impressive. No desire to sleep, watch a , catch up on email, read a book? How about if you have to pee? haha.
I took this flight on the exact same plane in 2022
I flown in Delta's A330-300 in 2017 but not their A330-900. Fun fact: the A330NEO entered service the day after I started my first round of chemotherapy!
Well, I sure hope you kicked/are kicking cancers butt my friend. Assuming of course that's why you are/were on chemo. I know they can use chemo for some other things, but generally cancer is the big one.
@@sla31 I did, but I'm suffering severe side/after effects. We decided to go to LAX to planespot to celebrate my beating cancer and my 18th birthday. I even uploaded some footage! czcams.com/video/Oj8Vbk-IHQ0/video.html also czcams.com/video/jutsdaW8zwA/video.html and finally czcams.com/video/o2Q_c2IzQNw/video.html
I wish they're be a little kinder.
28:25 - Mount Adams (left) and Mount St. Helens (right) in the distance.
Scusa non sapevo le regole comunque ho già visto filmati dalla aeroporto la gente quando salgono aull'aereo e i passeggeri e quando servono da bere è stato bello ciao
How do the wheels make it go once it gets up in the air?
…huh?
@Trey Channel Fr it’s kinda sad 💀 even for someone not into aviation.
LOL
The landing gear are retracted moments after takeoff. Watch a plane near your local airport next time.
They spin into super sonic speed creating thrust lol
I prefer the old winglets
