I liked this resort. I love the theming and it's nice to have a mini fridge and a microwave in the room even on the standard rooms. Dining options are pretty good as well. It's not fantastically good or amazingly cheap but it's at least got some decent variety. The hot tubs are really nice after a long day in the park and are actually heated well. This is one of the best pool situations in Universal Resorts and if you are in a tower room the walk to Volcano Bay is ridiculously short. The view of the park and I4 from the towers is spectacular if you get a room that faces Volcano Bay. I don't like the fact that it's across the street from the water taxi which is by far the easiest transportation security check through in the resort system, and I don't like that this property is ENORMOUS. It is a very very long walk from a Volcano Bay tower to the lobby and the place can be a little bit of a maze as well.

No, but you can buy a roundtrip on the Universal Airport Shuttle that drops you off and picks you up right at the front door for a very reasonable price.
Universal does not provide free transportation to or from MCO. But they do offer free transportation to the theme parks! There are also a few paid transportation options out of MCO. Thanks for watching! 😊
