Not trying to be rude, but it feels like you never used tiktok and only watched people talking about it on other places like CZcams or Reddit. So obviously what you know about it is very limited to, well, that.
@@infected8051 my insight of tiktok is actually very well told by news reports, commentary channels, and the time my school had to announce about the devilish lick challenge.
I only ever downloaded tiktok once to try and see how people make their shorts (to no avail of course).
All my opinions and judgement on tiktok are justified especially when 90% of kids end up hurting themselves and getting in trouble for it. 😑

That's probably because the Simpsons, while having things like funny lines and wacky imagery is much more a short story-based show, with each episode both having a central story (with maybe 2 side arcs at most) and contributing to the overall seasonal plot. Family Guy is a sketch show with an overdeveloped setting and sketches are much more clippable than short stories. I'd say the Simpsons is more apt to be used for image macros, while Family Guy is more likely to be in video

I really really hate this oversaturation in modern Internet. It's the point when I feel sick when watching this, the same way I'd feel after eating a copious amount of fast food, it's just too much... I really wish for a healthier Internet, free from this oversaturation and degeneracy. Doesn't mean that they'll never be content like this still (it never will), but at least it'll be a lot more niche and we'll have a lot more room to breathe in

the thing is with video games(especially early video games) they made it as a game just to entertain until you're bored with it but these mobile "games" are literally raw dopamine hits, the flashy colors the simple satisfying concepts and it happening so quick, it lasts at most a minute per "round" of these games

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disability. I wonder how it would affect children and teens more so considering that they're still developing. I was diagnosed when I was 14 in early 2010s via a brain scan (uncommon method)

This is just proof that TikTok's own users are so bored of the platform and its content that they can't even keep focus for less than a minute anymore. I'm waiting for someone to try actually mixing up the formula instead of just slotting into one of the 10 or so popular types of clips to maximize viewership on a platform where you can't even monetize your content. Why doesn't someone do something they actually enjoy instead of boiling themselves down to follow trends?

You either never use TikTok or have the worse FYP cause when I used it there were a bunch of creative and fun videos up there. I’m not defending TikTok by no means I think it has a terrible community and it’s format has started to get stale. But there are legitimately some very creative and interesting people up there.
