Lovely song and a beautiful reaction!! 😊
They are from the city of Chicago in the United States. This genre of music is what they called "Doo-Wop". This song was very popular. I love your reaction, sweet Maureen. You are a romantic at heart, like me. Love ❤and hugs, baby girl.

Try band" PM Dawn song Die without You. I think you will like it.😁
The Flamingoes are Black Americans, from Chicago. The music genre is Doo Wop - which originated in larger cities of Black American communities beginning about in the 1940s through the 50s & early 60s when R&B, Soul, Motown Sound etc. took hold. Black American culture is big, broad, wide, expansive - the problem is that it’s generally eaten alive by ‘others’ & credited as American, but never specifically credited. Kinda like a unique Black culture didn’t/doesn’t exist at all. I’m old enough to remember the neighborhood Black young men, wanna be Doo Wop singers 😂 harmonizing on the corner - acapella - in Brooklyn, NY in the 1950s. Sounding quite good actually!
