- Before Project Justice there was a sequel to Rival Schools and in typical CAPCOM fashion at the time, it's the same game with two added characters, Nagare and Ran, and a stage.
In fairness they also expanded the school life mode that was cut from the overseas releases of the game and added some minigames, still...
Here are all the Burning Vigors and Team Up upscaled and shaded to look better, hope you enjoy!
This is the most underrated game. This is one of the best games ever!!
I like this game so much back then, feels lots of coolness and happiness in this game, maybe because it's not too serious tone...
this game is one of the best fighting game besides tekken
@@TheKingOfCurses98 Agree bro, this game is so fun to play
7:42 the best
The graphics look more polished here than in the original release.
It's emulated with 1080p upscale and with smoothed textures that's probably why. It looks very nice this way
@@hardcorecasualfighter3746 I would've loved the original Playstation more if the 3D graphics looked like this. (Or if Sony made their own version of a 4MB RAM cart.)
My main were Baseball Boy, Photo Girl and Swimming Mr. Two
Mines were Daigo and Kyoko where she cracks your bones in 5 different places love it
6:10 Never noticed that was Buster Variation Part 5 from Kinnikuman.
Another person who knows. Kinnikuman? I'm shocked
Love it!! Bring back memories. I love Sakura & Akira!!
I remember spending all my pocket money on this before it was on hone consoles. I am old.
I keep forgetting this game came out in between part 1 and Project Justice
The story of Rival Schools 2 was almost the exact same as Rival Schools 1, just with new characters. Its the reason why Project Justice was consider the real sequel to the original Rival Schools story.
@@timetochronicle Rival Schools 2 is just a japanese PS1 port of the arcade game, with added mimigames and 2 extra characters
I love that the alt skins gives them alt supers as well
I had no idea this version existed
Only in japan ? :(
Yep, it also has an extended version on the school simulation mode. I'd love to play that but being all in Japanese it's rather difficult even with a translator
@@hardcorecasualfighter3746 school simulation is.the create a character mode?
My favorite always use xD Akira and the Photo girl ^^
the photo girl name is Ran.
Akira also was one of my favourites, together with Hideo
Same here 🥰
In junior high I traided this game to a kid to help me beat up a bigger kid.
7:02 evangelion
8:12 Tiffany2 and Kyoko2 was my fav combo
Those motion blurs are ridiculous.
This is Rival School 1, not the second. The 2nd is called Project Justice. :v
Well neither, it's called Shiritsu Justice Gakuen 2, a sequel/expansion of the original PS1 version, it's usually called Rival Schools 2 that's why I used that title
7:01 = Evangelion

5:00 who is this swimmer ?
How to control doble team in ps1
Who are those last four team up techniques??
They're alternative costumed Hinata, Natsu, Tiffany and Kyoko, normally they have power up or utility supers, in this version they gave them damage supers, which I think they come from the school life simulation mode, for the created characters
