Thanks for the guide! I was planning to build him a thief set and just give it to someone else once his bis relics come out, but the thematic nature of giving the cowboy the cowboy set is hard to resist... Harmony MC has his Talia set rn so I'll have to farm something so that they can both have one. I've been saving my fuel refills for building him so most of it will probably go into his new artifact set when it comes out. Cheers!

the cowboy set is buff for normal attack, but Boothill do Break damage - like DoT, it has another logic @@

@@Aijiyaaa They said similar to DoT not that it was DoT. Break damage does not use ATK it does not use Crit it does not use Physical DMG% so all of those stats are completely useless for Break Damage and would only do anything for direct HP damage. In fact I'm not entirely sure why this video recommended sets that will be mostly useless for him. The only thing that matters for Break Damage is his Break Effect stat, his level the amount of Break Efficiency his attack will do and any DEF Shred and such the enemy have on them. Any other stat is completely ignored when calculating Break Damage.
Just to reiterate. Not saying that you should completely ignore his attack stats cause they will of course do something for him when attacking enemies in general dwindling down their HP bar, and also do more HP damage to them while weakness broken (though they won't count for Superbreak if you run Harmony MC) but they will do absolutely nothing in terms of speed of breaking or even the damage done when breaking or Superbreak if running Harmony MC.

@@Aijiyaaa Yeah there really aren't many good ones outside his signature. Maybe they will put in a 4 star option as well, we'll see. I still think i would use one of the 4 star options over the 3 star one personally, just for the extra stats. But realistically it shouldn't really change much if you use 3 or 4 star options if you don't intend on getting his signature.
