To me, there's no manual to ascertain a long lasting relationship or marriage. Either you do all these things before marriage or you wait till you married, what actually works is finding a great partner, someone who knows how to love you and understands you well, it goes both ways. I did all of these things and we're happily married.

Sometimes I wonder what motivates our people to give such counsel. My wife stayed with me for 2 years before I married her. I supported her in everything. Got a her job. Even when I moved to a new region in Ghana… I made her move and got her a job. I married her just 5 months after we moved. Personally, I think marriage and love is dependent on the individuals involved. I’d rather want to see women who inspire their fellow women to greatness than this dramatic and frustrating counsel. Mostly from people who has been in such experience, and believing all is same everywhere. Many forget, that we guys do more for these women than what their parents even did.

Example; cohabitation before marriage, long sleepovers, granting entitled access to sex sex sex etc. However, if ladies are not doing some of the things you mentioned, men will compare notes somewhere along the line, maybe with their friends' girlfriends/fiancees, wives of relations during courtship, or even with the ex they didn't really give a chance when they ask questions, seek advice, or reflect; Results are likely to be drawn on: "I am not lucky if I move on with this woman" "I could get a better choice than this if I am not blinded only by the love of the moment, and I look further". "She's an amazing bestie I like to keep as friend, but I need to look for a wife" Many men have actually left their fiancee for girls they were not dating, or intending to date, who does those things you mentioned freely, some others got won over by that. How many wives are comfortable to know that a single woman out there is freely cooking and washing clothes for her husband with no strings attached as they will claim, and feel secured? Talk less of a girlfriend/fiancee whose contract has not been signed. Even a girlfriend's friend could be entitled to the same interest with her especially if the friend thinks differently and the boyfriend concerned can see. However ladies, do not pretend to do what you wouldn't do in marriage, let him choose you for the real things he appreciate that you will do. That said, a girlfriend is not a wife. A lady who may have given her 100% may still not be guaranteed a marriage if her man doesn't love her, or he may want certain values/qualities that the girlfriend in picture does not possess (which necessarily are not the fault of the lady) or perhaps he could simply just be a user. So ladies, as you are putting in your effort (whatever it is that you are doing), look out for the steps he is taking towards for your future with him together. For me, it is not a shame for a lady to ask him questions of such plans..

A lady coming all around a guy and giving him all her best doesn't reduce her value before the guy if truly the love is real and strong enough. I and my wife had all the possible best anyone could have imagined before. We are happily married till now without any form of regret or disrespect from any corner. I agree it could be very risky. It's more important for the lady to ascertain her guy's genuineness and extent of commitment to her. Not just by cheap words. Have we not seen guys who ended up marrying their family house maids respectfully that could have lived with them and practically almost have been raised together from teenage to adults? Please girls should take note of all she said, see finish is not good oh. I remember my ex calling me lazy simply because whenever I visit his shop I'll not clean it for him. My reply to him that day was why wouldn't he clean his place of work? Its not like I come in the morning, so when I come midday, you expect me to clean your shop for you. But we ended up get married, it's over there years now.. And we still live happily . I believe this advices is for desperate ladies, and young girls running after something.. So as a woman like this , before I get validation from a man, all these things you have said now is a ticket to being married and getting a share of the bliss, I mean we’ve seen people live with their boyfriends for years and they still got married without issues, we’ve seen people cook sauce and they didn’t marry them because they didn’t cook soup, we’ve seen people wash clothes and they still married them, 5 abortions they married them still, 1 abortion they didn’t marry them, circumstances and destinies vary, since it requires a 30 minutes video to teach me how to present myself in order to qualify for marriage, do’s and don’t ssss yadayadayada, I might as well remain single, it’s a mans world, all I’ll say is, whether you’re dating or engaged, no matter how well you want to explore a person, you will finish your exploration one day and all that will be left is telling yourself why you dated and walked her down the aisle in the first place, find her, and if she’s what you love keep her, if she washes and cleans and cook at intervals or even lives with you let it all be based on pure consent and agreement, if a man loves you he loves you there’s no two ways around it, and alwaysssss be prayerful. Sometimes I wonder what motivates our people to give such counsel. My wife stayed with me for 2 years before I married her. I supported her in everything. Got a her job. Even when I moved to a new region in Ghana… I made her move and got her a job.
I married her just 5 months after we moved. Personally, I think marriage and love is dependent on the individuals involved.
I’d rather want to see women who inspire their fellow women to greatness than this dramatic and frustrating counsel. Mostly from people who has been in such experience, and believing all is same everywhere.
Many forget, that we guys do more for these women than what their parents even did.

Understandably, you may not be right all the time, and cases differs. Don't overdo things should be the the right advice. Example; cohabitation before marriage, long sleepovers, granting entitled access to sex sex sex etc. However, if ladies are not doing some of the things you mentioned, men will compare notes somewhere along the line, maybe with their friends' girlfriends/fiancees, wives of relations during courtship, or even with the ex they didn't really give a chance when they ask questions, seek advice, or reflect; Results are likely to be drawn on:
"I am not lucky if I move on with this woman"
"I could get a better choice than this if I am not blinded only by the love of the moment, and I look further".
"She's an amazing bestie I like to keep as friend, but I need to look for a wife"
Many men have actually left their fiancee for girls they were not dating, or intending to date, who does those things you mentioned freely, some others got won over by that.
How many wives are comfortable to know that a single woman out there is freely cooking and washing clothes for her husband with no strings attached as they will claim, and feel secured? Talk less of a girlfriend/fiancee whose contract has not been signed. Even a girlfriend's friend could be entitled to the same interest with her especially if the friend thinks differently and the boyfriend concerned can see.
However ladies, do not pretend to do what you wouldn't do in marriage, let him choose you for the real things he appreciate that you will do.
That said, a girlfriend is not a wife. A lady who may have given her 100% may still not be guaranteed a marriage if her man doesn't love her, or he may want certain values/qualities that the girlfriend in picture does not possess (which necessarily are not the fault of the lady) or perhaps he could simply just be a user.
So ladies, as you are putting in your effort (whatever it is that you are doing), look out for the steps he is taking towards for your future with him together. For me, it is not a shame for a lady to ask him questions of such plans..

Yes. Blessing tried. Let's remember that no single formula solves all life problems. She was talking basically from her sad childhood experience. A lady coming all around a guy and giving him all her best doesn't reduce her value before the guy if truly the love is real and strong enough. I and my wife had all the possible best anyone could have imagined before. We are happily married till now without any form of regret or disrespect from any corner. I agree it could be very risky. It's more important for the lady to ascertain her guy's genuineness and extent of commitment to her. Not just by cheap words. Have we not seen guys who ended up marrying their family house maids respectfully that could have lived with them and practically almost have been raised together from teenage to adults? Every relationship is unique. Let her ask around and see where love works and forget about her ugly childhood experiences. In the long run which is better? Letting a guy see much of you and leave you, (no marriage) or keeping all away from him until you end up in his house, he gets tired of you and frustrates you bitterly because he is man enough to keep appreciating you all his life? Make your mistakes if you can't avoid them when you are still young and have potentials/resources to correct your life errors and clean your mess. Search thoroughly when you are still young and very attractive is better than accept any rubbish man or idiot coming after you've been abandoned by a man who married you and got tired when you will hardly have potentials to attract your dream kind of lover?
It is not supposed to reduce the value but unfortunately with most guys it does. Be honest with yourself and say you have never considered a woman who did this for you in the past as desperate. But like she said in courtship you are getting to know each other no one owns anyone anything be it money,sex and house work whether a man or a woman. When you do it at that stage of courtship it is to show love. It is only when you are married that you both are obligated to each other. No one owns some random girl or guy money ,sex or house work. At that stage you are deciding whether or not a person is meant for you. To discard each other is easy at the stage. But the level of entitlement in boyfriend and girlfriend today is unbelievable
