  • Brian Williams, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. After six years as an aeronautical engineer in the U.S. Air Force, he pursued a career in medicine and is now a surgeon caring for trauma patients.

    Wish there were a lot more like him. But sadly, there isn't. Black surgeons in the USA are statistically very rare.
