This is the content!!! PBA players practicing together, talking shop, asking each other for advice, walking the audience through your practice mindsets. Amazing. This is 400% it. Mitch's segment 🤯 More of this, please!!
I need 100 more of these types of videos! I feel like my bowling IQ went up 10 points just listening to the reasoning behind your adjustments and ball changes. This is what the bowling CZcams community has been missing!!
This is the best video you guys ever did. The insight was amazing.
Like its cool to see you guys joke around and stuff, but this was so good, pulling the curtain back.
I would watch HOURS of this kind of content. So real, and gives us so much insight into the troubleshooting a pro bowler goes through! More, please!
Man i love watching Mitch bowl, probably my favorite style out there
Simple and smooth, right. When he’s trusting the ball and the angles, it’s so pretty. He stays down like the book says to do it
The way he stands up for his shot is really nice
Plus he is learning all new balls since he went to SPI. When he gets his arsenal down watch out
This right here is the kind of video we wanna see. It’s so refreshing to see you guys working with a coach and with each other.
I agree with earlier comments.
THIS is the stuff those of us pursuing the art of bowling need from you guys! Great stuff!
Gold.. absolute gold. More please!
Guys, please do more videos like this, esp with the ball reps. This was probably the most helpful video I've seen on CZcams to date. It also talked me into an Attention Star lol.
Hey now!
love seeing this type of content. keep it up guys!
This is gold. Showing us the struggle to figure out how to strike on tour. Show us the sucky parts. That’s what tour life is. You don’t win every week
The content you guys have been putting out this season has been great insight on the day to day of pro bowlers and there has not been a lot of content like this before now. Hope you guys keep this up
This is the best video you have done. Please include more videos like this. I enjoyed watching you guys on Wednesday
What a great Vlog!! Always enjoy the educational ones at an elite level. Good luck the rest of the season!
As a guy trying to figure out the same things in my game, this content is amazing. Thank you.
Cant wait to see you appear on TV this year, keep it up Packy
Extremely informative of what your experiencing.
I like how you all are able to give criticism to someone and take criticism from the same person with absolutely no bitterness. Shows that you have great respect for each other and very professional mindsets
How about the regional tour for about 5 years in the south. When I was starting out I had so many people help me with adjusting and how to play the lanes and what to do and what not to do. Bowlers at that level never ever want to see somebody not make it. We all want to go out there and make money and win
You guys are doing an outstanding job! This speaks to the range of your appeal: the old bowling heads I know, 50's and up, love your channel and content, and my 4 month old son is mesmerized by your videos. Keep working hard and maintain the positive attitude and good things are sure to come 🙏❤️
Great video, very interesting to see what you work on in practice.
Huge fan of this video. Super interesting to see how you guys approach working on your gaps. I feel like I have been where you guys are at different points, whether it's I'm not sure what to do when I need to get out of my favorite/first balls like packy, or none of my equipment seems to be doing the right thing like kevin, or like mitch, trying to figure out how to play a different shape in a different part of the lane. Very useful and fun to see the thought processes and the keys you guys are looking for and how you bounce off of each other. Good luck for the rest of the season guys!
I love this! Love the discussions with all the pros and breaking down their game and where they need to improve.
You guys are the bomb! It's so fun to watch you guys progress. I know you all have great futures ahead of you. I see lots of tourney wins. It's also nice to know you all struggle with the same issues us league bolwers go through. Keep up the good work!
Great video. I appreciate you showing your struggles as well as successes. Seeing how you all alproach figuring out your strategy for ball progression and what works is interesting and informative. Wishing you all success in the rest of the tour year.
Another +1 for Mitch’s segment. Wow. What an amazing look into the problem-solving process. Great stuff!
This stuff is like crack to a former bowler who used to take the game very competitively and seriously.
Love the content The House puts out there. Sub for life.
GREAT VIDEO!!! Really interesting hearing the discussions and seeing the 'testing'. Hope we see a lot more of this type of content!
Best content on the PBA. It shows you how frustrating bowling can be and how extremely difficult it is to be the best.
This was a fantastic video. Listening to what y'all are workshopping gives me fire to work on my game 😤
This was a cool video. It's really awesome seeing behind the curtain at what you guys are working on.
All of you guys have the spirit to do well. If Packy and Keven could emulate Parker a bit more, you'll do very well. Mitch is dealing with transition issues mostly. Best of luck guys!
Love this content. Great to see behind the scenes and the thought process that goes in when it's not during the tournament.
This is the content we need to see. Love the discussion as I try to re-learn this sport.
Now this I could watch everyday I love watching videos that show the grind!!! Great video guys
Love this kind of content!
Great video guys. Keep it up
Top notch video! Thanks
This was a great video. For someone that primarily bowls out on the regional tour, it’s hard to get a sense of what’s actually going on out on the lanes when you’re struggling and there’s times where I couldn’t paint the right picture and go home feeling clueless and not sure what I could’ve done differently. But seeing guys out on tour still making cuts but not quite making it in the the final rounds getting insight from ball reps to try and put the right shape in your hand at the right moment from the right angle is very informative and gives me something to think about for when I do take the next step to going out and bowling in some national events. Great job Matt and Packy. Continue to put out amazing content. I’ll be along for the ride.
Great content as usual !
YALL ARE AMAZING!¡!¡!¡! 🤯🙏
WHAT A GOOD VIDEO. More like this please
Hunter Kempton, Bourget, Gotchall, tech talk. This is a video that those paying attention can get a lot out of. This is a great way to get content. Love seeing how the best players in the world practice and hearing how and why they do things.
Folks. This content was AMAZING. Getting this kind of insight into the game, learning how the pros adjust, I would pay money to see this on a regular basis.
Love this kind of video
Great behind the scenes stuff!
Appreciate it Jeff!!
This was really good!
Great content!
Packy & The House, you are making the best bowling content in the world right now. This is great for our sport! Keep it up!
Working with the ball rep was awesome to see
Literally me... being a dummy for like 3 shots and then realising I'm too deep to make the shot work....just square up and pack the pocket for better hits. Finish the set for a high six hundred maybe a seven. I need to read my ball motion better during practice to mitigate this...
Packy you are one of those top players a PBA star if weren’t you wouldn’t be featured on that banner. Believe in your game and you will have a huge tournament.
Fire content!
This is great I wish more pba players did this. It’s interesting to here others struggles
This is premium content
Packy, great video. Do you journal these results, spreadsheet, cheat sheets or just try to remember? Great information taking place, but how do you keep track of it to utilize next tournament?
I have the black widow 3.0 and I’m left handed also but mine doesn’t die at the pocket. But i throw one handed. I do love it and I have had some success on a house shot with it.
Loved this
I just got the 3.0 and you gotta play it straighter. I love it honestly
As a semi serious bowler I really like this type of video!
LOVE THE PRE SHOW SHOW
Are you ready for today’s??
This may have been the best content video yet. I anguish every week about which balls to take for league as at 66 years old, I am too old to schlep 6 bowling balls up and down 2 flights of stairs to my apartment. My go to balls as of late are an Outer Limits and a Piranha at 1000 grit for the lanes at Western in Indy. Innovator solid and and Bigfoot pearl make it into the bag as well. I have thrown the Cuda pearl but too snappy right now. Keep up the good work.
Cool video talk tech bowling packy tournament
I just came back from a practice session and watched this, and really saw where my session lacked compared to what they were working on even with the huge talent level difference.
Yeah, thanks Guys ( Packy , Kevin and Mitch ) for showing these behind the scenes practice sessions where you perfect your craft ! Hopefully, you guys can crack the CODE and start winning ! Thanks ! :)
Dangit Pack, those wireless dji mics are tuned to be near your throat, neckline like a lav… holding it that close to your mouth you’re peaking and clipping!
Bowlers say "Push" but I'm old school and I still yell "Hold". Hold is easier to shout imo :)
Are you guys practicing on House Shot or the same oil pattern you are bowling the Tournament on ? Different Ball reaction on different lane conditions.
My day the lanes Broke down on the Back end, now they broke down on the front end. I use a lot less Hook, I move right let it hook early then settle in the oil, shot 277
Keven, what about lofting your urethane a little bit more when you play further left? I’m talking about very small difference. With as much surface as you have on them they can get downlane a tad further, yet still be smooth, but still have a little more shape. Worth a try if you’re just not carrying. It also helps went the fronts are going but you still can’t throw reactive.
Oh that problem Keven mentioned about whether to be more upright or not irritates me, ill switch styles and go several weeks and its perfect and then suddenly its garbage and switching styles a bit just gives me that "new ball energy" and i'm back on form, so frustrating.
I think it comes down to be overly comfortable and going too fast. As soon as I switch styles i'm slower and my swing timing gets smoother.
Nice.
I like the piranha look better then the sensor solid because the sensor look a lil to lazy just to say if you throw it faster then you should
The difference between last year and this year is no Purple Hammer or Storm Pitch Blacks. Bowlers who leaned into those heavily in 2023 need to adjust to new balls and change their progressions. Easier said than done.
What about slowing it down? I know last night we had to slow it down from about 16mph at the deck to literally 14.50s off the spot.... I must have gone through every ball in my bag until I decided to back off it.... It was funky for a second...but I moved up and threw literally one-step drills on my spot and finished with a 7 bagger lol. It was either that or I was about to throw my spare ball right up the middle....
Not Mitch silently upstaging Keven casually picking up a 4,6,7,10.
Packy where's your banner? I see Mitch's and Kevin's. Anyways awesome vid.
Rob Gotchall is the GOAT. Shoutout to my fellow Lincoln Knight!
Short pin 3.0? Scorpion Low flare?
What about the Envy Tour Pearl?
The BW 3.0 solid is a great ball for a stoker with less revs... for me it is 1 MPH slower than the Envy Tour but rolls close to the same with a continuous hook motion, but the 3.0 is a little snappier on the back end when its hits the dry and goes through the pins better. The 3.0 is very predictable and when I have to move in on a burnt lane with carry down it does not overshoot the pocket as much as the Envy tour does. When it starts to leave corner pins I switch to the BW 2.0 Hybrid with more speed and with the length through the mid lane it breaks harder at the break point and consistently hits more pockets for strikes. Pacman you should keep the Hammer BW 3.0 in your quiver.
Idk if u’ll respond to this but I’m about ur height and stuggling with my form. My coach is about 10 inches shorter than me and when he tried to teach me two handed I couldn’t bowl like him. I’m just struggling with consistency and it looks like u do pretty good. I’m two handed righty btw. Any advice is appreciated if u see this
first, love you packy.
And second?
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS NOW YOU HAVE TO USE URETHANE BALLS THAT HOOK SIGNIFICANTLY LESS... AND GIVE YOU LESS MISS ROOM. THATS THE ONLY THING DIFFERENT.
THANKS...........I can cut myself a break then .............
Packy, I want to see you bowl a set against someone. They use 6 different balls. You use the same ball drilled 6 different ways.
Packy, have you tried out the ball. Ultimate Defender, yet?
Hi
you guys will be fine. just start bowling right handed
Kevin’s idea about how running into lefties isn’t common or consistent, when righties know what they will run into, in terms of the general transition though out a tournament is super interesting. Kinda speaks to how people think the left side is easier..🤔
try storm lol
packy and keven just need to get married already jeez
The finest 6 pound ball to the gutter bowler of all-time, Packy
switch to storm
Great content boys! Packy and Kev are a great duo! I like seeing this stuff, getting to hear what you guys work on to try and get better... practice with purpose! Suggestion for a future segment. Wrist / arm tape - How do you use it for longer format tournaments? I know you guys roll so many games at a high level, so I just want to know how to use it to reduce strain and fatigue for longer format blocks. Thanks so much! ❤ 🎳
I can see some inconsistency in Keven's swing, its at the point the ball transitions from back swing back to forward swing. Sometimes it can get a little loose and jerky. No idea how much actual affect it has on his shots.
Wish me luck tomorrow I have city my average 105 hit that button if u think me and my team will win
👇
2 Handers can manipulate the core of the bowling ball with the Palm of your hand, whereas a 1 handed Bowler cannot do that!!!!!!! 2 Handers are not Bowlers!!!!! #1handed bowler
Lmao watch kev shoot all over the lane and I'm thinking "just the wrong ball my boy"😂
Packy you go 15 right on the aproach every time you trow a reactive ball. You seem to need to start with weaker balls to have the ball more in front on you.
I never understood why you always open upbyour angles with EVERY reactive ball. Why is your shim somehere completely different than the rest of the lefties? 😅
I think you can find those balls. Open up angles on 90% of all reactive play is not the solution.
This is what happens when urethane is your crutch 😂 can't play one ball up 5 and 10 and call yourself a pro anymore
