do you have to manually turn on the device everytime you turn on the car, or if its plugged with usb cable, it will automatically turn on with ignition on?
Well. Mine shit the bed about 2 hours ago and I can’t figure out what to do. Was working fine for months, then just shut off by itself and won’t turn back on. I’ve tried charging it, pressing all the buttons, nothing.
So even if I only use it for playing music in the car you still have to charge it? Just making sure I got that right. Once a week-ish doesn’t sound too bad, but still
You can also keep it plugged in with the usb cable and it will always be charged. I use the battery option more because I found my Bluetooth speaker sounds louder when wired to this as opposed to connected to my phone over Bluetooth.
@@AwkwardHamster I see. I’m just having an issue where the port on my iPhone is loose or something and it makes having anything plugged in virtually impossible. My car doesn’t have Bluetooth functions so I’m using this to counter that. Seems like it’ll be fine, thanks!

My volume is really low compared to regular blue tooth. I need this to help fill the gap when I’m not using my motorcycle headset. Volume is turned up; is there something else to do?
On my iPhone, there is a governor for headset volume. It’s under Sound & Haptics - Headphone Safety. I raised mine to boost the volume. Please member this was there to prevent people from damaging their hearing. I use this adapter for my projector speakers now so I don’t need to limit the volume.
Thanks, but what's the battery life for music? I don't care about calls or microphone. I need something like this unfortunately because wired headphones + phone is absurdly quiet. I've tried like 5 phones, all different kinds of headphones, if it's wired, it's quiet. Bluetooth is plenty loud. Might just be better to buy a second wireless headset, god I hate phones. Or maybe I should buy a real mp3 player again.

@mattspazmatic correct. I blame the sun. I'm got another 1 love it so much. I was to blame on 1st one tbh. I think the sun baked it. But there's Anker ones too. Love their brand but pricey tho
@kongchan9166 OK, thank you! If I think of it, I try to put it in my center console, so it stays a little cooler, and isn't in the direct sunlight, but for the price, if I get 2 years out of it, I'd be super happy. I'll check out anker if I have any problems!
My TV at least does not have an audio in, it has audio out. So this won’t work with my TV. But, I have a FireTV stick with my TV. The FireTV supports Bluetooth audio so I use this COMSOON with my higher quality Bluetooth speaker. Now I watch TV with better audio.

Yes, you have to manually turn it on.
Simple product to use and very handy for my vehicle I just wish they make power supply cord longer

You didn’t show how to charge the device. When I plugged mine in after unboxing there’s no red light. Does this mean it’s already fully charged?

Do you have to use the j22’s mic for voice during a call or does the phones mic supersede it?
For iPhone’s connected to J22, I have to use the J22 mic for calls.

No. But I mostly used it with my FireTV stick to higher quality speakers that doesn’t have built in Bluetooth

Bass is fine. This unit doesn’t mess with the bass. Bass still replies in the speaker.
