Hmmm being that YT is flooded with EXP agents recruiting folks, yeah I can see how people can get that impression.

Leaving the pyramid of exp and going to a local broker was the best move I could have made.....

"Adding Re/Max and Keller Williams data, along with Exp Vs Real Calgary data, is a great idea. Mike, since Calgary is your hometown, could you provide insights on the current market share for Exp vs. Real estate in the area?"

I almost went with eXp but went with a local brokerage instead due to the fact that I knew plenty of people there already and they have great training and I get a better starting split because of it. Other than that I probably would have gone with eXp.

So is EXP a Multi-Level marketing company? Don't split hairs with me I know all about mult-level marketing companies and can't stand them. I just want a company I can earn money with my real estate client leads and it has a referral program.

Do you think Keller Williams is good for an inactive new agent doing other business? This is myself and Keller Williams wants me in their team

@@selmanuzun yes. You have the security of deals aka co listings and a steady stream of buyers. Open House hosting opportunities as well. They're education and training is free. First course that really showed me was "Ignite!" Program.

@@jesseibarra5038 after asking I think I found a better option nearby with 80/20 split, no monthly fees, free CE, free FMLS and insurance. Compared to like $2k annually. I feel like for inactive agents this might be a good option

@@jesseibarra5038 Not sure that you all know this, but EXP's entire model was created by the same people who created the Keller Williams Model and is KW's model on nitro. And as for the training, no one pays for training, we have PLENTY of Open House opportunities, and the training of EXP blows KW's outta the water and not saying that being rude... I happen to be grouped with the four most prolific people in KW history who are only a few spots above me in my upline, so topics such as these come up on a regular basis.
Send Mike Sherrard a message or myself and we can definitely show this. And as to the "Steady stream", there are far too many factors that play into this statement and considering that I am only a year and a half into being licensed and I at the end of my first full year I will complete my year (in which I took off four months for family reasons), I will have 14 closed by the end of the year and will be sitting on $10mil + GCI for the year. I have done all of this while using the systems and processes I am provided by EXP at no charge. with zero ads nor leads paid for (unless you speak of referral fees and that doesn't count).
I am working with 17 clients at varying levels at the moment. Of those 17, within there I have five listings that will bring a potential for 9-15m if comps hold steady and doesn't count my buyer clients. I picked up a major listing contract back in October that is slated to bring in north of $175m over the next three years (that I will be spreading out to numerous agents), and picked up one of the top land developers in NC the second week of November. I am also working on locking down four more referrals for '24 from within EXP. Are there detractors? Of course because there are anywhere... But it's about being willing to ask questions and to get honest answers... I always give it straight and that's a good part of why I have been blessed as I have, so that I may bless others...
I could say a great deal more than this, but I will say this... If what someone has is "Working", great. But most have no idea what is REALLY going on and what it's REALLY about because they either haven't actually researched or they've heard from people who really don't know what the heck they're talking about... And I am not saying this against you... It's all been very good to me and it's truly about what a person is willing to put into it... Not full time? Not a problem. NETWORKING.... It works every single time and being true to one's self with a no bullshit approach. God bless.
