Use a simple, cute paper clip to stick the dividers together without them getting glued together. You won’t lose the cuteness, but you won’t need to keep flipping one after the other.
But yeah Happy Planner's are great but I wish the dividers were separate... This video is a prime example of my complaint. I know some people don't like going to a tab and it not be the actual month and I get that but without them being separated you can't move dividers around as freely as you can the covers and I'd prefer that option so I could pick my favorite dividers at will and have my planner be truly customizable.
Happy Planner do sell dividers by itself but it is sold out.
I've noticed that some of the guided journals now have separate dividers from the guts (the new Wellness Warrior does, so do the Disney ones, and the Stephanie Fleming one), so I bought a couple on sale so I can repurpose them. I like using those because there's actually a set of four, as opposed to the Happy Notes.
@@pamelawalker9056 Yeah but if you had old planners, you could still utilize those dividers if the months weren't on them. Or like in this video with the princess dividers... Sometimes you might want some specific ones that come in the planners.

Haha. When they have some that I absolutely love and want to preserve....I buy two...sometimes three...lol. I like to reuse the dividers and relabel them for other projects after I'm done, and sometimes one is just not enough...lol.
You can just copy the divider on card stock and glue that onto your divider you don’t like. And then sell the princess one. Then you can give a nice planner to someone that couldn’t get one and you still get your pretty tabs. It’s easy and not that expensive to do.

Thank you so much! I’m new to planning (started this past October) and had purchased a planner that I loved for the cover and the “guts” for 2021. But then the Disney Princess line came out, and I wanted to incorporate that aspect of it, including a cover and some insides material. I was able to successfully transform my planner, and now get to use both covers and insides (one for catch all, one for budget)! I really hated the thought of wasting one of them and love that I can literally flip the covers to have either cover showing at any time. Thank you for your ideas!! ❤️

I have a Wild Style Classic that I got on clearance, and used a sale coupon on that Stephanie Fleming planner, so I switched out the guts and ended up with the a SUPER monochromatic/b&w planner for 2021. (Used the dividers and "Currently" page from Wild Style, and the actual weekly pages from the SF, and I really like it. The font/styling is almost completely the same.)
I love this! I made my own transformer frankenplanner with 3 books in it so far.
I have a daily planners, I got all the feels and covered the dates and day of week since that will be more sporadic and then a 3rd that I am either going to do financial or brain dump...9h and there is a 4th for journaling. I am using the 18 month book cover one for that. I can't seem to plan horizontally but the lines look good for journaling. And I got all the covers to work! Thanks so much for this video!!
I'm going to have to try the transfer planner idea. As I've crammed budget, monthly and classes I teach all together. Though it flows nicely I feel like it's a lot to look at and flip through when I'm creating my weeks. My work schedule is never the same so I don't do months at once.
Which leads me to another thing I like the idea of eliminating the full month view and maybe just doing the weekly layout.

i am silly, when i don't use up or not use a planner a feeling me guilty. so i use more planners to use them. because i don't want to sell them of give them away either. i want to keep them all.

probs too late but for the financial planner you could have used the 2020 pages in order and covered up the days of the week

I havent seen any covers I like either, I was hoping for happy notes in the winter release but oh well... I'm gonna use a happy notes cover from 2ish yrs ago.
Great way to store covers..I feel sad all my old planners are buried In The attic ugh lol., I could start doing that now I guess xoxox.
I do that with my new day dividers. I currently use my Teresa Collins dividers on it but for 2021 I got a 2020 Best Year Yet guys to use the dividers.
Use August for March and November for June
As someone who can’t get my hands on any of the Disney Princess line (I don’t live in the USA), and wishing very much I could, watching this was really difficult. Especially when I heard Jo Jo say she’s definitely not going to use the guts of the Princess planners. T.T 💔
Maybe she'd be willing to sell or give you the guts... 🤷🏽♀️
I have an “extra” princess one. It’s the one with Snow White, Cinderella, and Tiana on the cover. I did change out some of it with the other Princess planner I bought, but it’s technically complete for the year and all Princess. I would be willing to give it to you (free) if you are interested. I was going to interchange the covers for the Princess part, but don’t need to if you’d like it.

Got on order all fill in pages, but every classic planner I like is sold out! But frustrating.
this transformer planner is kicking my behind, I am doing a test run I did the covers like you said, if I grab it by the rings it does the cool flip thing but I find that the guts of one planner stay exposed in the back if I have it set on my desk to the cover of the other planner. If my planner is closed I have the two back covers in the back with nothing in between, If I open the planner cover I started with the guts of the other are exposed.
Do I make any sense? Probably not lol ahhhh this is hard but looks soo cool lol
You should have the same amount of sets of covers as the amount of different sections you want. Otherwise that will happen! For instance, in mine I did two separations so I used two covers sets. If I did three separations I'd need 3 sets of covers.
You also need to make sure you open the covers otherwise they end up staying together.
How many sections are you trying to do, and with how many covers?

I did a trial combining two separate planners now that I know what I'm doing I'm considering adding1-2 more, not trying to get too crazy to avoid a super bulky planner. It makes me want to set up a transformer planner this year!! Side note: my 2020 planners were also planner babe and then the flower one as my budget and it worked so well for that
