    Love those 2 Mustangs, especially that Acme police livery.

      Yeah, I was surprised how nice that Acme livery turned out, it's a good addition and the first version of that casting that I have with a light bar.

    Not a bad looking resin model at the beginning little bit Larry for me awesome detail though as most resin models are really like the rwb backdate and the MX5 is cool too great video my friend 👍👍

      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety

      Thanks Loonie. I think you inspired that RMB backdate as I was trying to find a different model you had shown and came across that in the search results.

    Next Werk i get my first Para64, a white Toyota Land Cruiser 76, cant wait to hold it in my hands. 😄

      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety +1

      Nice, congrats. I think I have that one in Silver. It has the advantage of being the only Para64 I've seen that has tread detail on the tires. I keep hoping they replicate that detail on their other models.

    The Bisimoto 935 from "Tetsuma" looks great, resin allows for great detail in 1/64, but the price of the model is steep. The Mini GT Mazda MX5 looks nice in both versions and their Porsche Taycan is nicely done as well. I like the RWB Porsche from Tarmac Works and they did a good job with the Dallara Formula 3 too. The 2021 Camaro Funny Car from 'Racing Champions' looks good, not sure what happened with that Plymouth Cuda though. The Mercedes 190E from Mini GT looks fantastic in this "Boss" livery. Lots of really nice stuff here, thanks for showing all these.

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety

      That Tetsuma definitely isn't a value buy for sure.

    • @DanhNguyenster64
      @DanhNguyenster64 Před 2 lety

      Most resin models fall about this price +/- $20 or so

  • @geoffersongeofferies477

    It’s going to take something really special to bump that 911 off your 2022 car of the year list!

    I just wanted to say how much I love your videos,unfortunately my budget is more aimed at Hot Wheels,but MIni GT models are my favourite.

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety

      Thanks, glad I could show something interesting. Mini GT is obviously a favorite for me too given how often I show them. I've ended up with so many more than I ever thought I would.

    My girlfriend and I are watching your video and when you dropped that racing champion hemi cuda and the front end popped off she started laughing her butt off!!😂😂 Her trans am from racing champion did the same thing! Just holding it and things start dropping off. My hats off to racing champion quality control.

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety

      LOL, nice. My interest in racing champions has been increasing but they sure don't make it easy to like the brand. The grill was a trivial fix but I spent about 30 minutes tonight trying to fix the hood on that car and could never get it to close right. Very frustrating.

    Best lineup to date. I'm tempted to get that Tetsuma and will get one of the Miatas someday..

      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety +1

      The Tetsuma is very nice. Realistically probably not worth the price but it's certainly a unique model

    Great and fun reviews always 👍 Glad you brought up the JL issues. I’m almost hesitant to buy them anymore. They look great on the pegs. Think that’s where I will leave them now unfortunately. I don’t remember JL having these issues when it was under the Playing Mantis company 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety +1

      I definitely hesitate on JL for various reasons. I am glad to see they are committing to all new castings being true 1:64 but hopefully they can also do something about their quality.

    • @TheCustomComicShop
      @TheCustomComicShop Před 2 lety

      @@StingerDiecast yes definitely right 💯 % They look great in the package but sadly it ends there. I do really still enjoy JL Playing Mantis line. They at least roll 🤣🤣

  • @MontyPython12
    @MontyPython12 Před 2 lety

    Racing Champions seem to be based off old ERTL castings, mixed with Johnny Lightning and autoworld castings. That's why they're a bit all over the place in terms of scale

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety

      Yeah it's definitely a big mixed bag of castings from different companies. Some are really good, others make you wonder what they were thinking for releasing them again.

  • @wholelotazepp
    @wholelotazepp Před 2 lety

    Nice Resin model, I appreciate the detail that is put into them, I just feel like they need to be treated with kid gloves and my luck I would have it to close to a heat source thus ending its life. Lol I need sturdy models. I was curious about the Jeep Law as well? I wasn’t sure if it was legitimate or something that “could be”. The Tarmac Porsche looks similar to the Painkiller which at first glance that’s what I thought it was. I enjoy the Merc 190 as well although I like Tarmac just a little more in terms of detail. As always Karl a very enjoyable thorough review

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety

      It looks to me like that Jeep Law is something Greenlight just made up. Guess they couldn't license a sixth vehicle for that set so needed to throw something it.
      To me the best Mercedes 190e is currently the one from Inno64. I wish I had remembered to grab that for comparison as the one I have is in a similar Boss livery. I have a Tarmac in SingHa livery which is very nice too and have a plain black Tarmac 190e waiting in the wings for a future video which should be cool to checkout.

    Although I do agree that these resin models are awesome. But personally, I've always been afraid of resins coz of their suspect durability.
    But after watching your video, I think I need to change my mind 👍

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety +1

      They are very nice for sure and I've been picking them up a little more often but I'm also still kinda reluctant to collect them in reality. We'll see if that changes as I get more used to paying resin prices for a single car.

  • @BBQ_T_Bone
    @BBQ_T_Bone Před 2 lety

    At least it’s not the Tetsuma you dropped… that would’ve been bad.
    What’s the most money you would be willing to spend on a 1/64 model?

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety +1

      I don't know, it would really depend on how much I want it. I'm fortunate enough that I don't really have a budget limit but these are just 1:64 scale cars so it's hard to justify spending too much. Fortunately I don't generally care too much about super limited purely collector oriented releases which is where things can get really expensive.

  • @geoffersongeofferies477

    Customs? Really? Where can we see some of your customs?

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah, they're nothing special. On my channel page there's a link to Instagram where I used to post photos of stuff. The channel header image is also one that I did trying to replicate my real car.
