- I think we've done it! We cracked the code on what to do in Nassau besides staying on the ship and skipping this port all together! We're talking about Blue Lagoon Island. Hands down the best excursion we've taken in the Caribbean. Totally worth getting off the ship for!

What time did you get there? It doesn't look crowded at all. Was there only one cruise ship at the port on that day?
Does anyone know how much the bounces were out in water?
Are there any shady spots to sit? Are the umbrellas extra? Are the lockers included? Were all of the items on the menu board included with lunch or just certain ones? We are looking at this excursion through Carnival. Thanks for the video!
There are shady spots to sit around the island. Lockers were not included. Our package included a burger or hot dog along with chicken and some other sides. Umbrella with chairs around the lagoon were free.

Does the transportation to the ship only run once a day or does it have several trips?
We had a ferry to and from. There were a few ferries coming in and out. Not sure if you were able to take other ones or not if you wanted to leave earlier than planned.
@@CruiseAddictJunkie Thank you! We are going on the Independence next week, but a bit concerned with the heat, so not sure if we'll stay til 3pm, thats why I was asking
By noon the beach is packed but you will get a chair.
