Hey everyone, Andrei Jikh here on "Don't Sweat It", and today I had the pleasure of interviewing the man behind the successful CZcams channel "VegasLowRoller". For those who don't know, Dan films himself playing slot machines in the heart of Las Vegas and has been doing so for an impressive 11 years. With each video getting a whopping 100k views on average, it's no wonder he's made such a mark in the CZcams community.
Dan opened up about his financial journey on CZcams, revealing that he started with earnings of around $1,000 per month. But dedication and showing more of his genuine personality on camera catapulted his channel. It's mind-blowing that the ad revenue from his content has been so lucrative that he was able to purchase a house, entirely in cash!
His audience, majorly aged between 35-64, isn't just viewers. They are a community, and some of them are so committed they even plan their Vegas vacations based on the casinos and machines Dan features. Speaking of his fanbase, Dan had a few intriguing stories up his sleeve. The most eyebrow-raising one? A super fan turning stalker, unearthing his childhood addresses. Though unsettling, thankfully, none of these encounters have been threatening.
Now, onto the part many of you may have clicked for - the gaming side of things. Ever wondered about the mechanics of different slot machine games? Dan is your guy. Im sorry i didn't know about this channel until your interview with Daniel. It was like we were all in your living room and part of the conversation. It is my husband that has cancer that Daniel talked about meeting and it did make me tear up knowing he was going to meet Daniel. Daniel was so kind, and let him get a picture. It surprised me to hear that impacted Daniel as much as it did us. Ok, im not tearing up again! Thank you guys for a great interview, and thank you again Daniel for all the laughs, and the memories ❤
My hubby had cancer as well. I'm the one Daniel helped also NG ,Diane Evonni ,BC, life of a gambler. They also just helped during Covid as well. I know these videos have worked for alot of people. Gamblers and non gamblers.

I love Daniel! I upload his channel so I can watch him on my breaks at work! I drive my husband crazy because I watch him by myself and will be laughing so hard. My husband knows what I'm watching!
VLR is honestly one of my top 3 heros. He’s right behind Tony Hawk in my eyes. He saved my life 10 years ago. I was depressed and damaged. Watching his videos and his joy and laughter brought me out of the depression and brought me back to my self again. Watching his channel grow, the support and his story over time encouraged me to be a warrior again. I’ve never met him, though he changed my life and I will always support him for what he has done for me. Thank you VLR ❤
I'm can agree with you. When I had lost my Son. I never did anything just stayed in bed it was hard . Till I found VLR. He's like some family I have but was always there just a click away. Like all of us know he's our HERO. Glad to hear your doing good now❤❤❤

I found Daniel by clicking on a Gas Station Millionaire video years ago. He played slots in a Vegas gas station & was being hounded by a homeless person. He was so kind to them & left money in the machine & told them they could play it down. The dude cashed out immediately so he could buy stuff in the store. Now, I watch him pretty much daily. He is absolutely a bright spot in my day. Some of his one liners are so funny and he's right, it just flows from him. Love to see him win big and hope all his wishes for the future come true!!!
I totally agree. I loved watching him go into a gas station and play the machines there and I remember when he hit like 100 free spins on the machine there. That was my all time favorite!😊
I never watch hour long videos without skipping, hell I don't watch 30 minute videos without skipping and yet I watched this entire thing and probably would have watched another hour. Daniel is quite literally the only slot channel that doesn't annoy me. It was great to see a much more personal side to him.

The formula is so simple, but so effective - it's Daniel's warm and funny personality, and the built in suspense of slot play. It's never boring! And when he gets that awesome surprise bonus, it genuinely feels like WE ALL got that, not just him. It's great!

I personally can't fathom how people enjoy playing and/or watching slots. It's all algorithms and you're always going to lose in the long run so I don't see how people can get exited when they win when you know 2 hours later they will have less than they started win. Spoke to many people and even been in casinos and see them all excited and getting a rush with flashing lights and spinning wheels telling me about how much money they've won but they're all broke and never have any money and the last £20 they have they put in the slots...
@@willnestor6422 it's dopamine. They use tricks in slots to trigger it. Its algorithms sure. But a lot of psychology goes into it as well.
A huge part of the formula that's never discussed are the beautiful new slot machines that have been designed by psychologists to mesmerize and ADDICT people. Not dissing on Daniel, he's awesome, but honestly I can't believe companies like Aristocrat don't copyright flag slot videos. It's their machines that are a big part of why it's fun to watch.
Watching Daniel's videos are the best hour of my day! I've been struggling with breast cancer and he's the one bright spot in my life! He's definitely one-of-a-kind! ⚘️

Daniel is definitely a one of a kind. i can tell from watching his videos just for the last year or two that he would have a hard time coming out of his shell in front of people. this video shows so much as to how humble he is and he should be very proud of his success. great job and i look forward to many more videos. i haven’t missed a video since a started watching.

Dan is the most genuine person in the slot community. He’s kind and funny and so relatable. I used to watch other slot channels but now he’s the only one I watch.

What makes Vegas Low Roller a standout in gambling vlogging is not the sessions of winning but the way he makes it fun and entertaining. He puts a lot of work in every video and has been consistent. The other big channels are more dedicated to winning big, while Daniel makes everything fun. He is a legend. I will have to mention channels like NG, The big jackpot, Lady luck..all of them are so repetitive.
Daniel is my favorite gambler and I love when he says , can someone come give me a hug , that cracks me up , or call the police ! He is such a hoot and I always love when he wins big , I hope to meet him some day in Vegas ! He's a cool cat !

I watch Daniel every day. I love him. I’m a huge fan of comedy and he is very, very good at it. His overall manner is bright and gentle. He makes his viewers happy. So it’s no surprise to me that he is making money from being an entertainer, any more than I would be surprised to learn Seth Myers and Jeremy Clarkson are doing ok.

All he does is say the same thing over and over, literally 100's of times in short periods. I used to watch Vegas Low Roller regularly when he was literally a minimum bettor. His intro with the tv being smashed was everything to me! It's amazing to see how his journey has evolved in front of our own eyes. Continued success to him and his channel.
I also watch Dan every day. I love his channel over all the others because he is not fake. He is so respectful to all the viewers who approach him when he is filming. He calls us his friends even though a lot us of have never met him. He is funny, and cheerful, makes me laugh, and most importantly the love and respect he has for his mom! Daniel is my above all hands down favorite slot channel. His personality and the way he speaks to you is unmatched. This was a great interview! I have been watching VLR's channel for many years, he was playing small amounts of money at that time and started to bet higher as time went on.

Thanks for the interview with VLR, I really enjoyed it and it was nice to learn a bit more about Dan. I watch all of his videos and really feel like I am playing alongside him, so much so that I shout at the machine for him and celebrate his wins! My family have adopted many of his sayings (much to the confusion of others at times!) I was lucky to meet Dan in January and he was kind enough to spend some time chatting with me & hubby. This interview was amazing. It’s nice to get to know the man behind the camera besides his funny jokes and face. Daniel is quite possibly the most humble and funniest person I have ever had the privilege of watching and listening to and following. His relationship with his mother hits home with many many viewers,I included am very close to my mom. This guy is the definition of overcoming things and finding his niche in life while making others smile and laugh. I play slots in my ho,e town of Boston ma and when I have the chance to travel to Vegas again I plan to meet him and hopefully spin some slots with him as well. Lastly you guys should join him for a day love at the slots and get a real feel for what he does in the Moment.. god bless and thank you for the podcast and thank you Danny for the good times look forward to many more.
