I had a similar hope to the off-season except I didnt care much about bringing back Trent Brown. Hollywood Brown or Calvin Ridley would have been ideal since those other FA guys and even Ladd are mainly slot WRs and we already got Pop Douglas who I think will have an awesome year. Xavier Leggette was my #1 target at 34 followed by AD Mitchell. Apparently Pats tried to trade up slightly for Leggette but those assholes in Buffalo made the deal with Carolina instead.
You were cooking with the Patrick Paul pick, I think if Miami didn't take him and the Chiefs passed on him then the Pats would have taken him at 68. Caden Wallace better be the starting RT and Onwenu back at RG to justify the pick, because if Onwenu stays at RT then we should have just drafted Christian Haynes. He's a pro-bowl level guard for Seattle immediately imo. Matt Goncalves who went after Caden Wallace also fits the mold of a LT better than Caden, but in Elliot I trust I guess!

The patriots have too many problems to get rid of Mac a year before his contract ends. Even if you do trade him you won’t get much out of it so why do it? The pats should’ve kept Mac Jones, and draft MHJ(also some o line pieces in later rounds). If Mac continues to suck, draft a QB next season. It’s better if you get a slightly worse QB going into a much better offense than a slightly better QB going into a much worse offense.
