- We found a new obsession, it wasn't hard, but we did it. So we dropped some mega bucks on new BFS fishing rods and reels so we can test them out and provide our perspective on bait finesse systems fishing gear. We also found some really hard to find hooks and weights that will really get you dialed on those ultralight fishing baits.

That's the perfect trailer I've been looking for to add on some micro jigs... I was using the 2" Keitech Little Spider but it gets torn up pretty easily... Mule baits are incredibly durable.

Hey there is also a Curado BFS rod comes in light fast action and light moderate action. I have them paired with my Curado BFS reels. I broke the tip off the Dobyns BFS I felt like it was to light anyways.

Guys, I just went freaking full send on my BFS set up and would never recommend what I am doing to ANYONE who has never used a bait caster. I myself have never used a baitcaster! So I just bought a Kistler Hunt 3x ultralight rod, and a shimano alderbaran 22! Not CHEAP by any sense! I am willing to deal with frustration in learning a new system. I chose this option to flat out push myself to learn a whole new set of skills for myself! Nobody has do to what I did to get in to BFS 100%. I'm just sick in the head and want a whole new challenge!

I’m going to try this out tomorrow. It’s going to be raining tomorrow so I hope that doesn’t mess me up since this will be my first time using ultra light.I’m scared cause I’ll be fishing it close to heavy weeds 😅

I also used a 1/64oz tungsten drop shot rig, 1/16oz is not that small yet

On the subject of bfs, you can't completely argue that the price is so high. There are a few options for budget that are still quality available on Amazon, not a lot, but there are options. I started with $80 and it worked until I wanted to go lighter than 5/32oz. I've spent $200 on 2 rods and 3 reels that will go down to 1/32 without much and that combo is $100-110. Patience on getting the gear is the name of bfs unfortunately.

Have you guys tried the iFishband Clamber Hyper Micro? Thinking it might be better than the Curado BFS! Casting was great and no bird nests.. ever! Thanks @baitfinesseempire
