After a flat 2012 in the private equity market, competitive deal-making has intensified worldwide. Aging assets requiring exit, restructuring and rebirth are waiting to be sold. The current period of low-cost financing, strong stock markets and accelerating growth bodes well for new directions in the industry. However, recent moves by banking regulators, including a redefinition of highly leveraged transactions, could dampen underwriting by financial institutions that participate in buyouts or refinancing leveraged firms' debt. The costs of fixing companies could rise, and such investments could be deterred. Our panel will discuss how the PE industry is adjusting to change in the regulatory and fiscal environments. What sector and geographic trends are fueling these new directions in private equity?

Woman and girls should look up to a woman like Maria Bartiromo not KimK, Bey, Angelina Jolie, or Hillary Clinton. Here is a woman that believes in free markets, is a good role model, and is very smart.

kd47730 Angelina Jolie? You might want to reconsider with her Humanitarian work and her adopting of third world children that gave them a better life that 99.99% of kids.

She's a globalist. She's weird. You don't take out your own breasts because you might get cancer. You live your life. She does all that for fame. The adopting of the kids. Why doesn't she move to Darfur and live there and struggle with the African people? If she did that maybe I would respect her. But she's a Democrap and a Hollywood hustler.

+kd47730 "You don't take out your own breasts because you might get cancer.... you live your life"???? That HAS to be one of the stupidest comments I've seen in awhile.... and this is CZcams, so I've seen some pretty stupid ones.
She had an estimated 87 PERCENT chance of getting breast cancer. And you think it makes more sense to go against those odds and 'don't' have the surgery?? Play "against" 9 to 1 odds which are stacked against you.?? You sir or madam, are an idiot.
P.S. And by the way, she's still living her life. She just took out a few hours to have a surgery.

You don't know. Your not God. You are one of these phony feminists that think Republicans are sexist towards women but you say absolutely nothing about how women in Saudi Arabia are treated and say nothing when ISIS throws gay men off of rooftops for being gay! Republicans are in the military fighting for these people while your bitching behind a computer about the fake war on women! People like you are the reason why this country is so down in the rat hole. WAKE THE HELL UP!

      kd47730 "I don't know... I'm not god"?
      I don't need to be god... I'm a doctor.
And for Angelie Jolie, that means I'm better for her than god:
If you believe in invisible spirits, then it was 'god' whom has killed 8 of her family members already by cancer.
" I " on the other hand, can save lives by performing surgery on the organs that 'god' has chosen to infect.

I'd be curious if David Bonderman is equally critical about the xenophobic Israel as he is of Japan. But probably not.

Fiat currency printing always meets its ultimate destiny. History books have put 1000's of today's type of currencies. They have failed caused by massive deficit spending. We tell a person in trouble with credit card to pay it down, but the US and other countries print more currency to be able to spend more which have shown to fail. If you understand FIAT Currency systems and monetary policy with a Centrally planned system it has failed. Centrally planned societies always fail!
