Do you know where you can get a replacement drain plug for this cooler? I haven't been able to find one and have got no help from Ozark trails customer support
Eric had it right, the slots under the lid work perfectly for ratcheting cargo straps to keep the cooler secured to the bars of an atv, a side by side, or any other situation where a cooler may move around or knock over. And yes, this cooler is the best!! Had it for 2 years and it has not let me down. I got a 54 quart and a large rolling version…..I would never buy a Yeti. Ozark for life!!
i will probably end up buying one of these , but for the life of me i cant understand why they would make it in such a dark color ? It stands to reason that most coolers will eventually spend at least some time in the sun and being such a dark color cant help but affect ice retention in that circumstance . Will probably end up making a shug emery style cozy for the thing , wish they still made it in tan or better yet , off white with grey flecks . Would buy one of the older ones but not having a drain plug is a deal breaker for me , also i like the vertical slots on the interior of this model , allows me to fashion a slide in divider , just sayin
I just bought this same cooler yesterday and used it last night, filled full with beer and only put half a bag of ice in it and it kept cold all night, half a bag of ice and 50% ice melt after a day, it’s definitely worth a shot and I used it as a step to get into my truck bed all night no issues
I couldn't resist for $49, so I put one on order and is due tomorrow. I'll be doing my own comparison to the RTIC 20 I own which I originally bought for $150+. The RTIC 20 I own is a few years old now and does not have the following features: internal lip for an optional basket, no divider channel, no stainless steel reinforcing security plate with bottle opener, no top molded ruler, no anti-bacterial feature and no lid drink holders. These are all minor grievances, but they do add up to a lot of missed opportunities. I think RTIC has since added a couple of those features in the latest model to keep up with their other four-letter competitor, but not all of them. At least not yet-i.
I have both, but I find myself with the Lifetime 28 most often when I need my small cooler(s). Lifetime coolers are absolutely awesome! They easily hold for 3+ days here in the brutal south Texas heat. Maybe I'll make a video on this very topic.

About this yesterday at Walmart have not used it yet hoping it performs well thanks for the video
Has anyone found a basket that fits inside to keep some food items up out of the water as your ice melts? The larger sizes come with a basket.

Love the music bro, felt like I was in a fancy restaurant
Rope handle or possibly tie down slots??
Those are for cooler mounts for an off road vehicle. They sell on Amazon, metal brackets that fit into those holes perfectly.
Really wish the sold those latches I’d like to swap it on to my 45 quart
Could you tell me how long and wide it is at the very bottom. I need a cooler that will fit in a metal frame on a trailer. Thanks
How about this vs the lifetime 28?

Does this have the same interior dimensions as the v1 ? Thanks
