  • In the avian world, cockatoos stand out with their striking appearance and charismatic personalities. While some species are relatively common, there are several rare and captivating cockatoos that deserve special attention. In this video, we will delve into the realm of avian rarity and explore the top 5 extraordinary cockatoo species: the Black Palm Cockatoo, Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, Gang Gang Cockatoo, Major Mitchell's Cockatoo, and Citron Cockatoo. Join us on this captivating journey as we uncover the unique traits and enchanting beauty of these magnificent creatures.
    Black Palm Cockatoo (Probosciger aterrimus):
The Black Palm Cockatoo, also known as the Goliath Cockatoo, is a majestic and highly sought-after species. Endemic to the rainforests of New Guinea and the northeastern tip of Australia, this large cockatoo is recognized for its ebony-black feathers, large size, and striking red cheek patches. With a regal crest adorning its head, the Black Palm Cockatoo emits deep, booming calls that resonate through the forest. Its powerful beak is well-suited for cracking nuts and seeds, which form a significant part of its diet. Due to habitat loss and poaching, the Black Palm Cockatoo has become a critically endangered species, making encounters with this rare beauty all the more exceptional.
    Red-tailed Black Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii):
The Red-tailed Black Cockatoo is a captivating species that showcases a striking combination of glossy black plumage, intricate red tail feathers, and expressive cheek patches. This cockatoo is found across various habitats in mainland Australia, including eucalypt woodlands and savannahs. Known for their distinctive calls that can be heard echoing through the Australian bush, Red-tailed Black Cockatoos possess a specialized beak adapted for extracting seeds from native Australian flora. Due to habitat degradation and loss of nesting sites, this species faces significant conservation challenges.
    Gang Gang Cockatoo (Callocephalon fimbriatum):
Native to the southeastern regions of Australia, the Gang Gang Cockatoo is a visually captivating and relatively uncommon species. The males display a unique appearance with their slate-gray plumage, crowned head crest, and bright red feathers on the head and breast. Females, on the other hand, exhibit a softer gray coloration with a small crest. Known for their distinctive call, resembling the sound "creaky gate," Gang Gang Cockatoos feed on seeds, berries, and various plant materials. The conservation status of this species is considered vulnerable due to habitat loss and fragmentation.
    Major Mitchell's Cockatoo (Lophochroa leadbeateri):
Named after Major Sir Thomas Mitchell, a renowned Australian explorer, Major Mitchell's Cockatoo is widely recognized for its vibrant and flamboyant appearance. This medium-sized cockatoo showcases a pale pink body, accented by striking salmon-pink and white feathers on the crest, wings, and tail. Endemic to the arid and semi-arid regions of Australia, these cockatoos possess a crest that can be raised and lowered to communicate mood and display dominance. Major Mitchell's Cockatoo is listed as a vulnerable species, primarily due to habitat loss, illegal trapping, and the exotic pet trade.
    Citron Cockatoo (Cacatua sulphurea citrinocristata):
The Citron Cockatoo, also known as the Lesser Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, is a charming and rarely encountered species found in Indonesia, particularly

@@salmanshah3846 Aisa murkhata bhara jawaab maine aaj tak nhi suna. Kawaii aur cheel sirf toton par humla karte hain kya? Duniya mein kitne tarah ke pakshi hain, aise to sabko kaid kar ke rakh lo aur sabki azaadi cheen lo. Aur tumhe aisa lagta hai ki in parindon ko kaid mein rakhkar insan inki hifazat karte hain, to bahut bade bewakoof ho tum. Arre ye to kudrat ka niyam hai ki shikari jeev dusre jeevon ko maar ke khaate hain. Isse un jeevon ki population kabu mein rehti hai. Aur agar wo dusre jeevon ka shikar nhi karenge, to wo khud kya khayenge? Wo khud lupt ho jaayenge. Tum sab logon ne bas isko ek dhandha bana diya hai, tumhe pata hai ye toton ka jo vyapar hota hai, ismein kitne tote maare jaate hain? Ye bahut hi kroor aur barbar hai. Is vyapar ko turant band karna chahiye!

I bought a Congo African Grey and I was betrayed by that seller saying the age of bird is 4 - 5 months but when I used some of my sources and searched on internet I came to know that the age of bird is 8 - 9 months . So , my question is
How to identify age of Severe Macaw / Chestnut Fronted Macaw ?
