- WHAT DO WE EAT in Koh Samui?? In this Koh Samui Travel video we show you some of the foods we eat at restaurants and bars at Chaweng Beach Koh Samui. Chaweng Beach offers a wide selection of restaurants and bars catering to all tastes. When visiting Thailand the natural choice of food to eat is of course Thai Food, and there are plenty of Thai Restaurants to choose from at Chaweng Beach! If you take a stroll down Chaweng Beach Road you will quickly get an idea of the many choices there are of places to eat Thai Food. There are just as many restaurants and bars specializing in serving International Food - a good choice of British Pubs and Australian Bars too not to mention the numerous authentic Indian Restaurants offering delicious and spicy dishes!

My wife and i went to Koh Samui in 2016 and loved it. We can't wait to go back as soon as we can travel without having to quarantine.

WOW, the food looked so good and the prices as well. I’m from Texas and I know BBQ, those ribs from Bondi Bar and Grill looked amazing and all you can eat too, I definitely would not pass that up. You guys rock, another great video!!!
The food is always good in Thailand! We have been regular visitors to Thailand since 2011 and in all that time we can honestly say that we have never had a bad meal! :-D Maxi grew up in South Africa where a Steak House with Ribs is very much part of the local food traditions, so he is used to a high standard, those Ribs are absolutely the best we have had!! Happy to hear you enjoyed in Kieron, we were not quite sure how interested viewers would be. This type of content does sit side-by-side with the Aviation content. We have always tried to be a Trip Report and a Destination channel as it makes sense to show the flight and then the place that you go to with the flight. The ribs and fish were fantastic. The fish was a fresh water fish and I (Maxi) are normally not keen on fish from fresh water - the cooked it to tasty perfection!! :-D Just as much as we enjoy sitting in the lounge we also enjoy sitting relaxed in these types of bars, watch out for part 2! Great video. Lovely is Maxi's favourite word. Had tried only the curry pot restaurant and it was good and wanted to try Bondi for some wings but they were out of wings that day and had to get some wings from the nearby burger king. Will definitely visit Bondi grill for some wings on my next trip and the Big belly thai restaurant as well. Thank you and have a good rest of your weekend.

Nice to hear that you have also tried the Indian Curry Pot, we really enjoy Indian food and the food was very good there! Bondi is always a nice place to eat and watch people go by... and the food is excellent too, try there seafood pizza! We will also visit Big Belly again (a few times) as we really enjoyed their food! I just had a huge lunch (it is Diwali festival in India today and I had cooked a hefty meal)....and here I am salivating at your video :D It all looks so delicious! My favourites were the Prawns tempura and the grilled fish!

The food is always good! As we wrote to one of our other viewers, we have visited Thailand regularly since 2011 and in all that time we cannot recall a bad meal anywhere. The Thai food is delicious and always beautifully presented! We can highly recommend Thailand as a destination... Malaysia too ;-)

Ahh good old Samui. Thx for a little throwback 👍 sadly I think a lot of the different places as we know them will not make it through the crisis. Watched several videos from vloggers that lives on Samui or visited Samui, and seen several of our favorite places totally closed down 😢 will be a very different island when things open up again.
We loved Samui! Had to cancel our yearly July trip but will be back again once things get back to normal and we are allowed to travel again. We can see just how different Koh Samui is at the moment, we follow some Live Webcams and can see that Chaweng is like a ghost town! We really hope that businesses will survive this pandemic as we are very sure that the tourists will be back as soon as they are allowed! Thanks for watching our video virtuella! Good memories from our trip last year! Yes, we have been watching Samui on some live webcams and it is sad to see places looking like Ghost Towns. We were at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia just today eating ribs but from another place and a lot more expensive. We look forward to all the yummy food when we can travel to Thailand again and will definitely check out those eating places so thanks :-)

The Pad thai looks very delicious! I had been to Thailand (Bangkok, Samui , Phuket) years ago, If you walk around the island and have a villa for a short stay , It was fantastic. Serene and refreshing, The most restaurant accept WeChat , Alipay, pay with these tools , the chinese yuan automatically converted to Thai Baht, convenient and easy. The price is reasonable the seafood was very fresh.I recommend a Japanese buffet at the 1st floor of Central Festival , you can order anything you want , the price is decent too. Looking forward to stay at Thailand soon! Thanks for your sharing!

Made me hungry. That first meal you showed was less than £5 each, (UK pounds). £7.90 each for the second meal. Forgot how cheap it is to eat in Thailand.

I have only been to Phuket. Wish we had also gone to Koh Samui. We were afraid to go to Krabi as we heard they have a lot of mosquitoes. Also afraid of Chai Mai and Chai Rai because of fear of catching something. The food looks fantastic. I love Thai food. You look so sad at 8.00 eating that meat!!! Just kidding. you look like you are in heaven.

There is a very upmarket supermarket in the Chaweng Beach Mall. Although we are not sure we would presume that organic grown fruits would be available for sale there.
