HONNE was by no means my genre of music to listen too, but it changed in 2018 when I was dating who would eventually be my girlfriend. She was such a blessing to me - a literal ball of sunshine. Seeing the world so differently, she made me see myself in an equally different light too. I actually loved myself more than I ever had before. We broke up in the tail-end of 2019, and it hurt so bad that I couldn't listen to this song in particular without breaking down.
I can listen to this song again in 2020, and it just makes me smile and remember every warm feeling, every happy moment we had together. We haven't spoken since we broke up, but I just wish she's happy. That she remembers us too when she hears this song and how happy we were together while we lasted ✨
