JBL Flip 5 bluetooth speaker original vs fake (2023)

I created this video to protect you from buy a fake JBL FLIP5

I ordered speaker from eBay. I checked auction pictures very careful and pictures featured original speaker.
Unfortunately seller sent me a fake…
I requested for return and refund and was accepted straight away…
But… What if I didn't know how to recognise fake?
I would have a fake one and would be surprised how pure the sound is.
Please see few elements to pay attention.
I hope you have an original one.

One definite way to be sure that you're purchasing the real thing is to buy it from the company itself, that's how I purchase my items. I have the JBL Extreme 2 and the JBL Flip 6 and I ordered them from JBL.

Many fakes here in Mexico! They sell for only 200 pesos or so for this model! That's about $10! I heard one in a store, and ended up buying a made in china brand for more money!

I bought on eBay as original - the price was like for original as well. Paid £60.
Second original bought from Amazon paid £79.

Fake sound terrible when you compare with original. Believe me. I made compare test but yt blocked it due to song copyright and I had to remove this part from my video

Flip5 kupilem za prawie taka sama cene jak original moze 15% taniej. Na Ebay. Bylem pewien ze kupuje original. Teraz kupowalem Flip6 do video na Ali zaplacilem £27 czyli 130zl original ok £100 czyli ok 500zl.

Hi,
I had test sound but YT blocked video due to music copyright :( and I had to remove this part from video - SORRY.
Believe me, the difference was masive. Fake speaker sounds like a phone speaker nex to original one.
