I don't know how many of you can understand but the fact is ...he was a shy , introvert, a non intersted in politics at all kinda personality, had gone through the pain of losing grandmother ( the iron lady of India) and father ( one of the greatest youth leader) at such a young age .....but just because he came from a political family background, he has to come in politics and while everyone has criticised him for over nearly 2 decades , he has now won million of hearts
If someone has the privilege of coming from a political family background, it doesn't mean he has to be the "perfect politician" .....may be he doesn't even wanted to be a politician, politics has lead his family to the most painful events

During my school days, one day I was at India Gate, Delhi. Raga was a new sensation at that time, very aloof, reserved person as portrayed by media.
We saw his caravan and started waving by roadside near India Gate.
The car passed and after a few metres stopped.
We saw this young man, the doors opened and he came, met all of us, a warm handshake, asked for our names, our vision, aim etc.
Now almost after 17 years, he is here again.

No, Brut, the trait of Gandhi-Nehru clan that Rahul Gandhi wants to imbibe is not becoming Prime Minister, but standing up for the country and guiding it in the right direction when it matters. RG if he wanted could have become PM even during UPA times. He didn't. Time to relearn about RG and not peddle the same old narratives. That would explain why he was able to chin up and fight for India even when he was mocked and ridiculed for close to 10 years when he could have been easily settled abroad, why he refused to apologize even after being convicted of that ridiculous defamation suit that effectively rendered him unable to contest for two elections. Even with his traumatising experiences of losing his loved ones, his disinterest in politics something he thought he wasnt built for, he allowed himself to be pushed in. He failed too many times, yet he never gave up. He did not aim for power when in fact it was all there presented on a silver platter for him, he strived hard to learn, learn from his own mistakes and mistakes of others and has definitely come out as a stronger, better and wiser version of himself.

His haters act like they've never experienced awkward, embarrassing moments in life. Like they've never been forced to be someone they're not. Like they've never been unsure of their place in this world. Everyone goes through that. Only difference is a million cameras were trained on him to capture his every misstep. Very few people have the fortitude to stand tall in the face of such vultures. Best of all, he never stooped to the level of that ridicule. If you looked closer you'll have more in common With RaGa than some self proclaimed "god". His life is inspiring. And he doesn't have to become a PM to get respect, he has it just to be able to face this hostility everyday.
