- I never imagined I will be making this kind of edit... I needed time to process what happened. I know they are still together off screen, but we won't get to see them... and we waited for so long to be able to enjoy their love...
I understand Jesse and I support his decision, it was just very fast and unexpected. I will definitely miss him as a character and I will surely miss Brettsey. I loved (and still love) them so much!
I found some very interesting parallels while making this video - some of their most important scenes took places in the same spots they had some of their last conversations in the show.
I do have hope that one day he will come back.

I stopped watching this TV show when he left it. I've been watching it for so long waiting for them to be together and then he left...so sad

you know you're right they try to make a Chicago fire soap opera people getting about sick and tired of bread in case but they failed to realize now they made a lot of people hate Casey and people already hated bread that ain't no problem cuz all them different men she done slept with and you know it's something wrong in case he don't care about his body cuz if something be said that house 51 trust me everybody know everybody know how many men are bread don't slept with casa know it too though but yet he don't seem to go get his mouth checked out on his body he can be walking around with a sexual transmitted disease and don't even care

Nunca entendí porque los juntaron a ellos, nunca me gusto su relación, es, todo lo que no debes hacer, Brett estuvo con medio estación, y Casey tuvo un amor inolvidable con Dawson, que a la vez, fue la mejor amiga de Brett después de Shay, por mucho que me digan que Dawson se fue y todo lo demás, hello, es el esposo de tu amiga, como vez normal eso? Cómo normalizas qué tu amiga se va, y te haces cargo de su esposo, todo ok, no hay sentido de la lealtad, para mi, eso está mal, además, de qué haces normal que una mujer pase por todos los hombres de la estación de bomberos, hasta que llega su amor? Sinceramente esperé más de esta serie, que de lejos era mi favorita, la dejé de ver desde que empezaron a enamorar a estos personajes.

In my opinion, knowing that he wants to go, they shouldn't have wasted a whole season with "Will they/won't they", and Brettsey should've been together through season 9.

@@irenapopovic5922 yeah... but maybe... that's just my theory, down the line, they will find Brett a new love interest... (I hope that's not the case, but writers usually want their main characters to have a love life) and if they were together all last season, their bond would've been a lot stronger, because let's face it, a relationship progresses with time...
And if they want to break them up, this would be an easier way. I hope this doesn't happen. It will ruin a lot of things, but if Jesse is never coming back, one way or another I think they will make Brett move on in a season or two...

I was actually thinking about her the other day and realised I don't at all. Haha. But everyone has their favorite characters.
I like both of them..but dont think it will work..hard thing to do..too much distance very lonely when u love somebody..Brett needs to move on..she deserve to b happy..however so do Casey/ he's forever already gone.
