Spot on. The PL is the toughest league in the world with some of the best coaches, It's not the Scottish league or the Japanese league. You can afford to be adventurous at home (depending on the opposition) but you ALWAYS have to be cautious away. Spurs under Postecoglu have thrown caution to the winds! But with Spurs over the decades you could always say that when they're good, they're good; but when they're bad, they are bad.
Everyone blames ange or the refs or our defence from todays performance but our attack is useless, we have so much possession in every game we play yet, it’s wasted due to the lack of quality we got up top, son is useless as a number 9, looses the ball constantly and doesn’t have the bottle to shoot, Werner is Werner unfortunately, those 2 sitters missed would of killed off the game…. We waste so many opportunities going forward, need a striker and winger this summer asap!!!

Spurs playing out of the back is very predictable.
I take what how did as a compliment - defending in a 541 and counter attacking us. This is how we used to play against city and won. Pep had the same problem for years and only got to fix it a year or two ago. We are in the first year. Just give them some time and they will learn how to cope with it.

Look here, (toon fan - real one!!) spurs hammered us in London first half season, got 4, we beat you at home got 4. Forget last season (which toon fans never seem to want to do) there’s all to play for. We were embarrassing away, (kind of still are tbh) and you beat us, but yesterday, you lost and got embarrassed. Two very evenly matched teams. We’ve had loads of injuries effecting the balance, but at full strength, or when we are on it, we are well matched! Just cos we’ve been floating around 9th or 8th most of the season doesn’t mean we aren’t evenly matched. I think many people have forgotten judt how organised and disciplined and good Newcastle players are because it’s been and up n down season from injuries but also expectations by the local media and fans. Spurs on the other hand shoukdnt be over expecting. You have a new manager, your high up the table, you can secure Europe, leave it at that and stop thinking your going walk your way there. Gabby talking about challenging for the title, doesn’t work that way it’s a building process! And like us, your getting way way ahead of yourselves!
The fullbacks and midfield look confused about where they need to be/where to go. The team look worse than they did on Matchday 4/5. Ange not good enough for Premier League- teams know how to play against them.
