I bought one based on this video. I used it for the first time yesterday. For me, this was a game changer. It was easy to use, less mess, and damn near doubled my work speed. I'm not a mason by trade. I only bought it to restore my 800 yr old stone house. It was worth every penny.

Hi bud i bought the original one from masons mortar nearly £400 I tried it with an nhl lime mortar mix using sharp sand and it just kept clogging up New nozels can be made on a 3D printer

That's the main issue I've had with it....tip replacement. Nice idea on the 3d printer

I just received my pointing gun today, as in this video. How do I get a drill to attach to the back end of this implement?

@@trischmanderson3063 should just chuck up normally like any drill bit would.

i love a tool that makes work easier... problem with this tool is that mortar has to be pushed inn as much as you possibly can and here just not happening.🤔

It actually forces the mud to the back of the joint when the drill is turned to high speed. So far so good. Thanks for checking out the video

@@zimzimer oh sorry this was white mortar (type N) and 2 parts mason sand and then 1 part arena sand...(white silica sand). That is what it's all called here in the states.

Does the gun still work now mate ? Ive read reviews and people are abusing this tool lol.

Still working just fine. After hrs of use my one complaint are the plastic tips supplied. The threads eventually strip out. Be great if they were aluminum or a mild steel even.

@@diybricklaying5568so it’s the same issue the coxx pointing guns have. The plastic wears down.
Does the supplier sell the nosils separately?
