- Hi all, had a 57' Gibson ES-225 in the shop for a few odd jobs. One of which was flattening out the pick guard. Ended up putting it in the oven.

Great job .....
Appreciate it!
👍 Looks like that turned out pretty nice.
I'm pretty happy. Thanks Earl.
Pretty good save there, Dane!
Thanks Chaz, does anything ever go smoothly?
@@jonahguitarguy I know, right?
wow! fooled me! I would have thought that would been a much easier job! looks great man!
Thanks Randy, I'm really glad it didn't just explode in my oven.
Great save! You had me nervous when the back caul came off... Was hoping it didn't delaminate.
Thanks Greg. I about crapped when saw that area on the caul. But everything is solid.
Neat job Dane, especially given it's a lamination with all that implies regarding static deflection. I reckon you could take on pretty much most things!
Thanks Steve. Could and should are vastly different things. I think it needed all that heat to slip the laminations. It was right on the edge of too much heat.
Not gonna lie, I clenched up a little. But it turned out very nice.
You and me both mrwaffles. Thanks!
