Enjoyed your assessment of our club badges and at 80 years of age I’ve seen and worn them all but definitely agree that our present badge is the number one choice and by far the most striking and iconic of any in the football league Come on you Wolves 🐺🐺🐺🐺

My favourite is the three leaping Wolves; I guess that's because that is what the team wore when I was in my teens and first became a season ticket holder. I love the current badge, though. My least favourite is probably the over-fussy version from 1993 with FC at the bottom (your ice hockey badge). There's just too much going on. Simpler is better.
1. 1978 / 2. 1970 / 3. 1974 for me. You know you missed one out right? Bukta is your clue 😉. Pre 70s, clubs only usually wore a badge in the shirt for Cup Finals etc, hence using the town crest. If you’re ever over, stand in front of the Billy Wright statue… you’re emotions will let you know if you are “home”
Just a fyi for you the crest is the crest for the city of Wolverhampton which the club used on the shirt a couple of times.

Maybe check out the 1908 FA Cup Final shirt to appreciate the original Coat of Arms badge in it's natural habitat, very cool. However, I do agree with your winner, totally iconic.

Why do you seem to say badges didn't happen until 1970s ?. This isn't so !
@@keithbradbury8139 Some site said badges weren’t common until the 70’s, however I looked back earlier in the clubs history and found wolves had badges for ages. Some nice versions of the crest too!
