Kimbra's one of the few artists that sound great on record, but you /cannot/ miss seeing live because she changes shit up and creates new magic every. single. time. LOVE HER
hence why I think she is setting the standard for live music. Going to a show just to hear the same song performed exactly the same is boring.
Janna Saavedra she's such a fun, incredible artist. Sharing that Kimbra love!

James Sheldon I agree! His influence has definitely filtered through Kimbra and into Tash Sultana.
Kimbra tells a story of the time she met Prince. He was apparently appreciative of her work (if not an outright fan), and told her that "Carolina" was his favorite track off "The Golden Echo".
High praise, if you ask me.
Her vocal decisions/timing is quite something. One of my favorite songs to see her do live.
It's like a rap track Kimbra was brought on to do backup vocals on, and instead, she's like, "I got this!" and proceeds to owned the entire thing. :P

Hot, sexy, cool, unique, talented, entertaining as hell, original, yet embraces traditional genres, she just puts it out there and you can groove to it. Kinda sums her up for me. She is the complete package. Recently had the honour of finally seeing her live for the first time and she and her 2 fellas were great! Love the "Prince" comparisons, you can so feel that in her vibe. really looking forward to her next album.

kinda sad that kimbra left it out (including the bridge at the end) in the studio version, but it's still good anyways

I think they know eachother, or of eachother's music given both of their last albums were released on the exact same day in 2014
So awesome news: the glove team was at an ableton event yesterday in Berlin. kimbra was there and got to demo the mi.mu gloves with one of Immi's spokes-artists Chagall. Found this out from Kelly Snook's instagram.

She's actually one of the few artists out there using autotune as it is intended - as an effect, not to compensate for having a weak voice. She's just experimenting, and it is so good
dude, it's an effect.
gosh it's about the music and the effect. We all know she can sing her ass off but it's not only about singing, it's about how to make those sounds while performing, it's not easy like those lipsync chicks out there.
