a new song closes it out for the amazing Kimbra last nite. With Spencer Zahn and Timon Martin It's out now on itunes and spotify smarturl.it/SweetReliefKimbra
Kimbra's one of the few artists that sound great on record, but you /cannot/ miss seeing live because she changes shit up and creates new magic every. single. time. LOVE HER
Kimbra tells a story of the time she met Prince. He was apparently appreciative of her work (if not an outright fan), and told her that "Carolina" was his favorite track off "The Golden Echo". High praise, if you ask me.
This is an outstanding performance! To think if it weren't for the uploader this performance would've been but a clouded memory lost to time. Beautiful it is!
Hot, sexy, cool, unique, talented, entertaining as hell, original, yet embraces traditional genres, she just puts it out there and you can groove to it. Kinda sums her up for me. She is the complete package. Recently had the honour of finally seeing her live for the first time and she and her 2 fellas were great! Love the "Prince" comparisons, you can so feel that in her vibe. really looking forward to her next album.
FuuuuuUUuuuuunnnkaaay!!! Going to check her out this week and really looking forward to it! This girl is TaaAalented with a big T! But most of all it's the passion she puts into her stuff and the obvious enjoyment she gets out of performing for us that I'm sure we'll really dig. Just know I'm gonna love it - can't wait!!! Cheers very much "iwaseasymeat" for posting this.
Mallory Knox haha the autotune fits so well with the whole performance. it was the part that got me vibin to the song, kinda sad that kimbra left it out (including the bridge at the end) in the studio version, but it's still good anyways
So awesome news: the glove team was at an ableton event yesterday in Berlin. kimbra was there and got to demo the mi.mu gloves with one of Immi's spokes-artists Chagall. Found this out from Kelly Snook's instagram.
She's actually one of the few artists out there using autotune as it is intended - as an effect, not to compensate for having a weak voice. She's just experimenting, and it is so good
gosh it's about the music and the effect. We all know she can sing her ass off but it's not only about singing, it's about how to make those sounds while performing, it's not easy like those lipsync chicks out there.

hence why I think she is setting the standard for live music. Going to a show just to hear the same song performed exactly the same is boring.
Janna Saavedra she's such a fun, incredible artist. Sharing that Kimbra love!
St.Vincent and her should collab. That would be amazing
I definately love her outfits and she the way she moves on stage as much as her music
Sarah Gbaguidi I really wonder how it stays on though.
NEW KIMBRA MATERIAL MY SOUL HAS BEEN READY FOR 2 YEARS
SAME I NEED NEW KIMBRA STUFF
bagel Hey, didja see the alternate video of this same performance and two other new songs?? ie. "Good War" and "Black Sky"?? Pure Awesome
WHWEE IS IT?
Snap. I've been looking for them - they must've been taken down. Hold on. I can loadum onto onedrive and send you the link
(I downloaded them when they were still up)
I thought they said Prince didn't leave a will...? Clearly he left Kimbra a few goodies.
James Sheldon I agree! His influence has definitely filtered through Kimbra and into Tash Sultana.

Her vocal decisions/timing is quite something. One of my favorite songs to see her do live.
It's like a rap track Kimbra was brought on to do backup vocals on, and instead, she's like, "I got this!" and proceeds to owned the entire thing. :P
One of my most anticipated releases! I love how she's constantly trying new things and expanding her sound! Love this
Oh my god this better than the original I love it!
she's killing it!!! so overdue for a new album, I can't wait!
Realizing that kimbra can sing and do stuff on these keyboards is simply amazing
I'M SO SHOOK
What a breath of fresh air! YES!!! So ready for the next record
The shenanigans after 3:38 give me goosebumps everytime, I wish I was there
Kimbra is funky, yeah.
I feel like my mind would explode if her and Robert Delong collaborated.
This is an outstanding performance! To think if it weren't for the uploader this performance would've been but a clouded memory lost to time. Beautiful it is!
She's a beast !
fucking refreshing. always intrigued by her work.
this was so good I almost cried
I just keep coming back to this sound.. Addictive!
Can't wait for the next record!
I'm so hopelessly in love with her and this track ❤️
Love it! We want more, pleeease

probably one of the best live versions of this song. SO FUCKIN GOOOOD.
5:15 metal scream, nice. What can't she do.
OMG I love this song! Also that's a lot of technology going on there.

I WAS HERE AND WAS LOOKING FOR THIS. THANK YOU
3:40 still is my fav part of this song…
1:20 soo unexpected, just love it!
i still really want the song that was like "high def, distance, romance"
sorry, I only got just the few last songs. maybe Ren Ralos has them up on his youtube?
I just looooooooooooooooooove her!
i needed this
this performance is the GOAT
Absolutely love her!!!!!

smarturl.it/SweetReliefKimbra
sh!t i've got to see her live!
damnnnnnn THAT AUTOTUNE WAS SOOO GOOD.
Ivan Joven really? I've never heard anyone use the words auto tune and good in the same sentence.
Mallory Knox haha the autotune fits so well with the whole performance. it was the part that got me vibin to the song,
kinda sad that kimbra left it out (including the bridge at the end) in the studio version, but it's still good anyways
Ivan Woven 😁Yea Kimbra is amazing and I know she doesn't need the autotune so I guess I can try to accept it.
Mallory Knox autotune to cover up mistakes: not good. Autotune as a stylistic choice/effects: good.
Thanks bud! One helluva woman-- helluva performer-- good back up with tech.
man i love this
awesome, pure awesomeness!
LOVED THIS!!!!!!
She's so fucking cool.
good god this feels so good
she's soo cool!
None of her albums do her any justice. She's so amazing live. She needs to capture the live vibe on record instead of being so overproduced.
a incredible artist!!!
Love It!!!
She looks great here with the long hair
love u kimbra#1
Great Song!!!
YES.
what electronic music devices she use ?
How?
Look at the Michael Janet Jackson shoulder moves at the beginning. Soul museek!! 😁
ШикааааааааааРно!
It's fire
she's so dope
that setup reminds me of Imogen Heap.
Seriously, someone needs to get them acquainted. I can't imagine what kind of awesomeness Kimbra could create with the mi.mu system.
I think they know eachother, or of eachother's music given both of their last albums were released on the exact same day in 2014
So awesome news: the glove team was at an ableton event yesterday in Berlin. kimbra was there and got to demo the mi.mu gloves with one of Immi's spokes-artists Chagall. Found this out from Kelly Snook's instagram.
true I was watching a video of imogen heap and somehow she reminded me of kimbra and now im here ._.
holy crap
Bravo!!!!
arrasoooo
Thanks a lot for these! By any chance did you record 'Settle Down'?
srry, only got her last 4 songs :/
Just uploaded it on my channel :-)
Are the other two on youtube??
+Lem-1 with an E I think that user deleted his account :(
Ahh! Didn't they ask not to release any spoilers ;)) I was at that show!
i like this song, is it confirmed to be on her new album?
ummmm wow
sooo hoooot
shes so cool ;'(
vid just dropped
Soooooooo fucking good
in my head i'm her
Anyone know what all her machines are? Looks like the voicetouch live, kaosilator.. but i'm not sure what else. Too dank
Can anyone tell me what equipment she's got in front of her besides the voice live?
does anybody know what the gear is that Kimbra's using?
This song is so damn sexy.
2:46
holy shit, fam
Please make more songs like, "withdraw" you have such talent that's being wasted with auto tune
She's actually one of the few artists out there using autotune as it is intended - as an effect, not to compensate for having a weak voice. She's just experimenting, and it is so good
dude, it's an effect.
gosh it's about the music and the effect. We all know she can sing her ass off but it's not only about singing, it's about how to make those sounds while performing, it's not easy like those lipsync chicks out there.
Le Anh Quoc yea you guys are right. I never really looked at it that way.
that's not autotune that's talkbox
REALLY REALLY needs a live drummer back, seriously lacks groove, high end cymbals and energy when I saw her in London :(
