I split hard this year and still had some swarms. You can't keep them all from swarming. It's nice when you can catch them when they bivouac ("stay in a temporary camp without cover.") You should check out Randall Carters Scoop and Score. You may find that tool useful if they are ever higher than what you caught in the video.
Swarms are fun to catch, but the really cut down on honey production. Keep on beekeeping and have fun.
