Life by the Drop

"Life by the Drop" was written by Doyle Bramhall and Barbara Logan. It appears on Stevie Ray Vaughan's posthumous album, "The Sky Is Crying", released in 1991. SRV played a twelve string to accompany his searing vocals. Doyle Bramhall played in bands with Stevie Ray Vaughan while they were still in high school, and he also played drums on the Vaughan Brothers' (Jimmie and Stevie Ray) album "Family Style" (released in 1990).
