I'm still watching but I'm so perplexed as to why a couple stepped into marriage without the required attention to certain conversations about their past. Their marriage lacks real dialogue. Kola shut her up while she was trying to explain and she refused to say a word about his infidelity. Couples should be able to have hard conversations. As for the guy believing that she is the bringer of bad luck, that reveals a lot about his walk with God. Any man, who doubts that his wife is the good favour from God, is still straggling spiritually. Also, a man who kept a girlfriend just before marriage was definitely a philander. He had not severed ties with Eniola but married Bimpe, an assumed virgin because he was looking for fresh meat. He is a user. He wasn't a virgin himself yet expected to marry one. This guy has no spiritual covering, he mentioned his pastor once but he's obviously not submitted to him. Why would he be going round for enquiry prayers? Where is his relationship with the Holy Spirit? Begging your wife to forgive still does not substitute the place of candid conversations. Premarital counseling is very key but of utmost priority is getting married to a man who is submitted to the Holy Spirit authority. Which one is visiting prophets when the Holy Ghost is in you? 🙄

Ok, I'm watching the end. More questions. Didn't grandma attend the wedding or meet Kola before the wedding? How did they end up together with no linkage to the past? This is not sitting well with me logically based on the requisite premarital checks. I will assume that the script writer wants singles to pay attention to these aspects before going to the altar. Grandma who raised Bimpe should have met Kola before the wedding. Kola is a hardened sinner that needs to genuinely repent and submit to the Holy Spirit and spiritual authority. Keeping a girlfriend before marriage shows his sexually immoral lifestyle coupled with the rape in the past. May God have mercy on those who think they are entitled to eating their cake and having it.

Lovely movie. But the husband's salvation is really questionable: unashamedly committing adultery and visiting spiritualists and false prophets for solution to his marital problems without remorse. He is either not saved, or he is a baby/weak Christian; it should have been addressed too.

This is an inspiring movie but the dresses worn by Bimpe are short; showing her knees through out.
