In 1998, I bought Mysterious times by Sash! on CD......I absolutely loved it. There have been many remixes made of it, some good, some not so good. There are a lot of DJs out there that make some really powerful energizing trance. But of all the trance tunes I've ever heard, through all these past years, I always seem to gravitate back to this track. It just had everything. Sash! didn't realise what they were producing back then. It was a masterpiece when it came out. It still blows my mind all these years later. I was lucky enough to have been in my early 20s back in the 1990s. Dance floors erupted, you could taste the adrenaline in the air. I feel for clubbers today, they just dont have the same kind of music commercially played in clubs today that we did.
It truly was a great time.

The track is such a classic, comes around so lightly, not many instruments, just a few, but everything has a meaning and is brought to the point. Combined with good songwriting skills, non-standard chord progressions and you have a classic! I´d call this genre "Singer-Songwriter Trance". Such music doesn´t exist anymore nowadays!
