Also this drama is very well written & acted - everyone from The Emp, the ML's 2 2nd in commands/ her father & 2 brothers and the other 2 2nd leads and even the 3 princes are hysterical!
I laughed so hard looking at this clip. I don't remember it being this funny originally! All their mannerisms and looks to each other were so perfect. This film is so funny and so heart-rending. The funny parts are literally laugh out loud moments.

That crown prince is a piece of work. He sees nothing wrong with the females with him casting slurs at Shaoshang and that Yuan dude but calls Ling Buyi out for telling them to get out of his house after they insulted his guest. He pulls this same stunt later when Shashang tells the emperor and empress about all the slanderous remarks made about her. Apparently, if a young woman is not a relative, slandering her name is okay with him - especially when the ones casting the slurs are his relatives. Back then, a young woman's good name was her most prized possession. Once it was destroyed, she had very little hope of making a good marriage - or even having a decent life. He's a real ass.
That is so true, and Shaoshang would continue to create problems for Buyi trying to save his bacon repeatedly on behalf of the Empress, due to his weak character and coddling of his corrupt family. He was a really poor excuse for a Crown Prince.
