Love this! Thank you for the inspiration!
Greeting from Dublin Ireland - sounding from from this side of the pond Pete. Thanks for sharing. You’ve got yourself a new subscriber! 👏👏👏👏👏🙂
Congrats bro, you play so good
Super Lesson. Really enjoyed it. Going to have so much fun just doing the simple things with this tune. Thank you for sharing.
Nice lesson! Thanks Pete!
EDIT 7-15-18. Still a perfect song. I got out that Epiphone banjo sitting project for a friend (away for the Summer) and gave it a try. I like your style. Not pushy, just informative.
Re: Epiphone Masterbuilt. This instrument is amazing. Such potential volume. Much fun with those hammers, pull offs and accents. It’’s like a piano with steel strings.
Re: The “a mid-range bowling ball” accusation. Very true but bowling is fun, too. This little monster is, “like electric man.” I feel like Myles Davis when he first started playing with electric music, late in life. (A great video) The Mel Bray book I have from the owner uses picking style and I am following it religiously, picking at one & two and reading notes instead of struggling with tabs. Still love frailing, too. Will keep you advised. ⛩🎶
Rob Kunkel will do Rob
Rollicking! Nice job, Pete.
my type of songs keep it up
Good lesson! Was playin along
question?.. did you notice any difference moving the snark to the rim over clamping it to the head .. Thank you for your time.!!
Having it on the rim is a little less obvious. I had a little bracket that held it to the clamps, but it broke. I now use a tiny tuner from D’Addario that clamps underneath the headstock, which I like much better.
Hi Pete, greetings from the UK, really enjoying trying contempory songs in clawhammer! Thanks for your tremendous efforts! Have you ever done "in the jailhouse now" from that great film "o brother where art thou" ps have subscribed and hit the like button, thanks again
I've played and sung that song, but have not done a video. Perhaps for the future. Thanks for the nice comments!
Do you remember where you got that hat?
Lol. Actually, I’m pretty sure I bought that off the rack a few years ago at a Rite Aid or CVS drug store. But it’s kind of a Toby Keith style hat. I looked on Amazon and they seem to have some that are similar.
@@PeteGlazeMusic ok thanks
Is there tab for this version?
curtis smolen No, sorry, I don’t tab, and would likely never play it exactly the same way twice.
Tuning?
Andrew Medlin Always in standard Open G for these videos.
