Shawn, Thanks so much for the update on Frosty Mom! She is so precious and super stole my heart when she became President Snow's Foster Mom! She is such a great mom and I've been worried about her and her babies and her worry over her babies and not being able to be with them. Glad she has finished treatment and is doing better and is back with her little 3 pack! I see the babies haven't missed a beat and are back to nursing and hanging close to mom always. So sweet! Tiny Herc has got to be the cutest little thing ever! I so wish he had blue eyes and was polled so you could keep him as a herd buck! That is a shame about horns or horn matter now making their appearance on the little doeling that y'all were planning on keeping! She is a pretty little thing. Blessings to you and H!

Those weren't really bites, they were love nibbles from the babies!!! We had 3 rounds of storms today. With good old fashioned thunder and lightning. Haven't had that in a long time. But we got some much needed rain. We were behind with moisture with very little snow this winter, actually below average for the last 2 yrs, so we really needed this. Now they're saying tomorrow should be clear with rain chance again on Thursday. Could live with that, for now anyway. Lol

Are all the breeding boys horned? So all girls you retain want to be polled so you have the polled chance? I thought you had 2 blue eyes and 2 brown eyes and one of each of those horned and polled to keep the widest breeding possibilities. It would be so nice to keep a roan girl for the herd but you’ll need a brown eyed polled boy for her.
It’s funny how she tries to kick her babies off but she’s over a year old and still drinks from her mom
