As much as its important to recognize our freedom in Christ, its also important to recognize what that freedom is not! Many live in the extremes of either Legalism or Antinomianism, but the Gospel offers true freedom which is not found in both!

Amen! Precisely explained!
The Lord is Spirit, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So if the Son sets us free, we are free indeed. Christ has set us free to live a spirit led life of holiness. We are to forsake the legalistic mentality of the law & live as children of inheritance, in the freedom Christ has given us. Beware of the deception of false doctrines. It’s faith working through love. We obey Christ because we love Him. He does not force us but has given us the free will to understand n make the right choice to live for Him n joyfully serve Him. Wherever the cross is preached there’s offense. He shed His blood for the atonement of our sins. Everyone who believes in Christ’s work on the cross, is set free from every sin, a justification we were unable to obtain under the law of Moses. God’s laws are written in our hearts in the new covenant. The entire law is fulfilled in keeping one command “Love your neighbor as yourself.” When we experience that freedom in Christ we set others free to do what God wants them to do. We don’t operate in bondage but in the freedom of obedience because of love.
