  • First, thank you for watching my video-If you'd like to make a Donation, please follow this link: www.paypal.com.... The goal of this tutorial was to provide you with an easy, and free method of converting your pictures, logos, files, images, etc. into fully digitized files and embroidery files. I once had to pay someone over $100 to "digitize" my logo and convert it from a .JPG .JPEG .PNG .GIF .PDF .PSD .BMP to a .PES file. (Also Before I paid, I attempted to learn how to create this embroidery file that only a certain few seemed to know how to do, but I was unable to solve the task and paid the store to create the stitches and digitized file (which they wouldn't even give to me!!) I think it was the fact that I paid to have my logo digitized and embroidery file created, yet was unable to use that file on my own terms-so I re-visited the issue and eventually came up with this tutorial.

I have watched literally hundreds and hundreds of videos on here on everything from finance management to how-tos for CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop and loads more and you have one of the best. You just were calm, didn't waste time on nonsense and got the job done with excellent results. I may just buy that machine

great video, trial is 3 colors, 60 saves in 30 days. if you want to save reduced colors image.... save
as .tif for the trial and you can alternate colors to separate areas, try to use only 2 or 3 colors while in the trial, and if you have an embroidery editing program you
can change colors, merge colors, split design to separate areas, etc. SewWhatPro from same company has a free trial, and "my editor" is free. back to SewArt, if you want to change parts of the design, change colors, add border stitches you won't have to reduce colors again, if you save as .tif, and when you open the .tif in SewArt again it will have the retained reduced colors.... in the video he said he wanted to save as .bmp but that image type will not save the reduced colors.

I appreciate the clear instructional video and the fact that the program to use has a 30 day free trial. What i do not like is when individuals create informative videos such as this an never respond to their audience. I read the comments on both videos where individuals have asked specific questions for guidance and have not received a response. That makes my skin crawl.
You create videos, you receive viewers, and they respond to their content the least you can do is respond to the community of people that are supporting you. That applies to anyone that are doing videos and have an audience of supporters.

Thank you so much for your tutorial! I had forgotten that I downloaded the trial software and didn't use it. When I went back to delete and re-download, I was unable to. I like this program however, so I am off to see how much its going to be to purchase!
    Thanks again!

This program works only with the simplest of designs having a minimal number of colors in it. I did try the demo version, and it produced nearly unusable .pes files. I do thank the author for his lesson, however, and advice. E in Columbus, OH

very well explained. i've tried it (before i saw your video *s) and it wasn't too bad. however the stitch-image wasn't perfect either. i've still got a few issues with the outlines. it's a logo with white letters on a blue background. have to redo it once more :-). i like the edges clear with a nice border. will use the wizard next time *lol

This works great on pics. Thank you! I create a lot of text (multiple lines) with my Sophia2, and I have to create the text in PP or Publisher, save it as an image, then take it into SewArt. It doesn't always keep all of the text, i.e. a letter will be missing... Anybody have any suggestions? I wonder if a certain font is better than another?
