This is fabulous, I’ve been looking for info like this for years! I live in Glasgow but I’m from a little hamlet in Dumfries and Galloway called Townhead of Greenlaw, my house which was originally a 17th century smithy backed onto an old Roman fort, now farmland. The remains could be seen when the field was ploughed and aerial photos taken. I used to play in the field growing up, I sure wish I had dowsing rods to play with back then! My house & the field did have a spooky vibe, I’m pretty sure it was situated on a ley line but am not certain. One could have been nearby 🤷🏻♀️
Fantastic video. Thank you. Your traipse up and comment on distance reminded me of the times I went up and thought and that's not right. Felt a great sense of peace up there especially when I was standing on the Military Way looking along the length of it east and imagining it was something else - 11.07 mins - procession to Medionemoten sacred well Hill fort grove, avenue perhaps? Thanks for this.
A wonderful video Grahame thank you , and really interesting to hear your thoughts which ,to me feel right on !! The dogmatic approach to history leave out many nuances I feel ... Intuits can balance that hopefully 🙂🐉
Thank you!
Very informative thank you. I agree with you the wall was probably to do with coast to coast supplies rather than being solely defensive.

Yes, there's definitely a change in atmosphere as you walk over towards Castle Hill.
