    Senna actually said in an interview that Comas' foot was still on the accelerator pumping gas into the engine. if he didn't get there when he did to shut off the engine, Comas surely would've been killed by an explosion it's amazing how things come full circle with Comas ending up at Senna's crash site in '94. RIP Ayrton Senna. :(

    At 2:34. I have never seen that footage in my life until today. That had to be a horrific impact when Ayrton hit the wall.

    This is an important video. Take a look from 3:44 to 3:46. At the lower right side of the video, you can clearly see that Senna looked TWICE into left when his helmet popped into the video camera, somehow like "I turned left! Why doesn't it turn?!" and tries to lock full left again until time runs out.

    I've forgot to ask you something about Part 23 of Ayrton Senna which i believe it has eaten up by Formula 1 management, would you please repost?
    I would like to know exactly what is that sentence means? "Priest Amadeo said Ayrton's head was dark" & "...was already the size of a basketball". I apologize as I am too dumb to understand. After all i am too devastated by this horrid injuries...

  • @v8havoc
    @v8havoc Před 16 lety

    that hole in the helmet is a vent, to let out air so the visor doesn't fog up, not a bullet hole....
    btw what is the name of the last song in the video?

    capacity, which would never occur if there was a disturbance to downforce. Not to mention there is absolutely no reason for this type of car to lose downforce because of bottoming out. It was completely normal for this era and it never caused anyone to lose control.
    On the video you can see the wheels point right as the head moves left. Also, what you did not hear on Seismic is that angular velocity for the shaft was near zero, while there were abnormal values for steering input.

    On retrouve Eric Comas qui devait mettre un terme à sa carrière suite à ce drame, lui que quelques années plus tôt avait eu la vie sauve grâce au courage d'Ayrton...

    Completely wrong. He is either turning left, or his body collapsed on the broken steering shaft. Certainly Senna did not turn right, as then his head would have never gone left. The whole idea he turned right, or that there was a slide is pure speculation. Looking from behind from Schumi's car, you can see the car clearly has traction and steers like a missile into the wall. Also, the idea the wheels are not touching the ground is completely ridiculous, as according to Williams he braked at full

    The image u painted is a bit too coloured. The truth is that the swolloness of the rigth emiforehead was because of the wound. The edema is a natural effect of the direct impact against the calvarium. Besides we dont have to forget that the suspension hitted his head and push it straight against the airscope causing the fractur of the skull basis and this explane the more swolloness as well. It was and it is a regular sign of a direct trauma. That's all.

    This is really a very sad episode to watch, the facts & everything. I couldn't imagine how Ayrton's face would look from that scene of 2:34 onwards. I can't picture it & wouldn't want to. A deformed face, loads of cuts & wounds & totally blood-soaked & with shatters of brains. Oh my, it's gross. Somehow it was team Williams' at fault. If they weren't to cut the steering column to make it longer, it won't kills Ayrton. Sadness. Ayrton live forever in our hearts! Blame Williams' team stupidity!

    videoq2008,
    Liquor is a liquid inside cranium wich function is protect the brain against trauma, infections, etc. Our face is not correlated with the liquor, because there is a bone barreir between brain and face. If we loose the liquor, our brain surfer damage, but our face doesn´t get big.
