- We took a day trip to Santa Cruz to go biking! We also walk on the beach where we got engaged and tell the story of how it all happened. We also enjoyed some food and dropped by our favorite ice cream shop there!

HWY 17 is my commute to work to Santa Cruz everyday, when I’m driving through the tress I think how blessed I am that this is my commute to work and home everyday

Great Vid! You hit so much of what my husband and I have gone through! From Santa Cruz to Capitola and staying down there with our daughter. To the comments about the commute from Central Valley to work in the Bay Area. My husband commuted from Manteca to Milpitas for a year and a half before deciding to retire. He still has nightmares about the 205 after being rear ended there twice in two weeks! Can't tell you enough about how much I enjoyed this video! Loved the proposal story! Santa Cruz is our 2nd home. We are there all the time and I hardly ever film. I gotta make more Santa Cruz content. The food place outta the old bathroom is weird 😂. Always a good time down there!

Nice video! Back in the late 90's when we lived in Sacramento, our weekend getaways were always to San Francisco. I remember wearing shorts and a tee-shirt getting into the car and having to switch to pants and a sweatshirt when we arrived in SF. It was always so interesting and cool that somewhere so close had such a different climate! Only a 1.5 hour drive back in those days :)
The weather definitely is for sure different along the beach/coast areas.
I guess you mean toilet block - similar things happened to the ones in my home town where they converted the old Victorian covered seating into restaurants etc. It does look better etc.
Just having a really bad day after two bad and rude teen mums who make my life harder on the local bus. In the end, I went to another bus stop and got on the bus earlier, just to stop them. I’m just fed up of their behaviour. Anyway, I’m home, safe and out of the sun.
Not sure what toilet block means?! For us, that means you need to go get a plunger to unblock a toilet 😳😂

Diana, I’m so sorry about your sister. I understand you are responding to the story we told about the dolphins. I believe God can do anything; I believe he does not always choose what we would hope and we usually don’t know why. I have seen many prayers answered and others have not been answered the way I hoped. I do believe God has a plan much bigger than what we can comprehend. We live in a broken world, but God did conquer death through the resurrection of His son Jesus. Now, death is not the end and we can have restored relationship with Him. Why did God choose to answer my daughter’s simple sweet prayer that day? I don’t know. Why does he not choose to answer other prayers that are so much more important to us? I don’t know. All I know is what he has done in my life. He saved me from addiction and a very unhealthy path I was on. He has been faithful in so many ways and I choose to trust Him in faith even when he doesn’t answer prayers the way I hope. I trust Him that His plan is bigger than I understand. He doesn’t promise life won’t be hard, but promises He will be with us through everything if we trust him.
