Well,this trailer is the proof I needed to completely believe that square just prioritized the disney content ABOVE the actual KH content in KH3. The devs said that its the case,the game made us say that its the case and now the trailer says that this was exactly the case. Also,dean,have you heard of the dev teams merging? Apparently,bussiness division 1(tokyo team) and bussiness division 3(osaka team) merged alongside other teams to shrink the amount if teams from 12 small teams to 4 massive ones. Meaning that the next KH game will be a game where the OG KH team will be involved after ff7R! I'm so looking forward to future games but if square continues to play by disneys rules and prioritizes disney content ABOVE KH content then I dont want another KH game tbh. Other than that I'm glad you're still alive and I wanna see yozoras story at all cost considering he is the reincarnation of vs13 noctis.

Because it could be that the osaka team becomes one of the 4 big teams instead of merging with the main ff team/tokyo team. But considering that the two teams have merged before it makes more sense for BD3 to merge with BD1 instead of BD3 being their own entity. It also doesnt work from a logistic pov. 4 teams = 1 mainline ff team,1 expansion team(ff14,games as service team),1 team that only works with luminous engine(BD2) and last but not least 1 team that focuses on DQ games. Thats already 4 teams. Its best for ff fans and kh fans if both teams merged. Kh fans can finally hope for a true successor to kh2 and ff fans finally have the backing they wanted so that we dont get another 10 years fiasco. And hey,when the entirety of ff7R is done they can still make KH games. I mean with the newfound staff they will probably develop the games much faster. I think they'll need about 1 ½ years between each release. 2 years tops. And who knows? Maybe if planning for a new KH game is already done,maybe they can somehow slide it somewhere inbetween? However it was unknown if the osaka team and tokyo team would merge at all or if both will still be seperated into ff and KH groups. By the looks of things the teams have indeed merged but theres no official statements,only few translations here and there. But again,considering that those teams have merged in the past they could easily do it again. And there are only 4 teams. 1. The main development team(tokyo team + the rest) 2. The luminous studio dev team(the ff15 guys) 3. The "games as a service" team(ff14 for example) And 4. The Dragon Quest team. As you see,theres no room for another seperation,meaning that the osaka team and the tokyo team(and a few other teams) have indeed merged into 1 "Creative Bussiness Unit"(they're now called "Creative Bussiness Unit". Not "Bussiness division" or "tokyo team" anymore. This aint some leaks or some rumors,this shit's real and out there. Back then we couldve had both,disney AND KH. But with development being more and more expensive,we have to choose what we want to keep and what to throw out. Because lets face it, we're never gonna get a satisfying KH game on release this way. I mean look at KH3. Crucial story elements are held in fckn dlc while the story in the game itself is barely an hour long. The rest of the 18-24h is pure disney-sidestory. And imo,if KH treats itself as 2nd class content then I dont want another KH game. They either get it right or throw disney out imo.

Strange theory. Yozora is an older Ephemer that used the power of waking to save his friends. But instead of what happened to Sora, using the power of waking fractured Ephemer.
I mean, I also don't really emote for the other Guardians of Light. That's just a personal thing for me, I want to play as Sora, I'm not that interested in switching playable characters. It's a neat feature, just doesn't really fall under my interest specifically.

@Noah Except the difference was that kh1 & kh2 felt like complete games by themselves where as kh3 felt rushed and so much of it felt half done with sora being basically worthless in all but 3 of the disney worlds and most of the cutscenes having awkward pauses along with most story elements being compiled right at the end of the game leaving off on a sour note. The final mixes in 1&2 mainly just added more content to do like special heartless and post endgame bosses, they didn't add more into the story elements of the games.
