BROAD GAUGE STREAMLINERS ON THE ALLIED GRAIN. a short film.

A short film I made up from a few jobs, recently up to charlton and Nullawil, which includes the run up the main street of Wycheproof Victoria. All shot on a gopro 9, on either a Stick or magnet base.
* I must mention that safety is my absolute number one priority, what the camera sees doesn't always depict what I'm focused on which is driving these trains, and doing my work safely.
I edit together what is generally random unseen footage, I clip the camera to my hat or helmet also, so my hands are free to do my job, if I can't film a shot safely, I won't shoot it, until I can assess all risks Involved.
That being said, always open to feedback and comments, i try to make these videos appeal to non rail fans also, I have a love of film/cinema, and a love of cameras.
The money I make from these advertisements gets me more camera gear, to make better videos for you, and I'll continue to make them as long as Im permitted by the company I work for, and I can do it safely.
I'm a locomotive driver of 15 years, I've driven for numerous rail operators, Intermodal, bulk freight, passenger, grain, as well as works trains and special services.
I love making these vids, and please please please, go and visit some country towns when covid restrictions ease in Australia, these towns need you, it's heartbreaking seeing places who go through floods and drought so often are forced to shut down because they don't have anyone stopping through town for a rich coffee with milk from local farmers and a Homemade bacon and eggs, from the local butcher and the chooks up on the corner.
