      Philippians 4:6-7
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

That's what I've always heard. It's never "cured"; it's always "in remission."

    • @anyaw340
      @anyaw340 Před 10 měsíci

@@skeptigal2785 You're speaking of something different. She's saying that when cancer recurs, it recurs because the person was never actually cancer free even if doctors and scans say they are. The cancer was either not completely removed, or it had already spread in tiny amounts (undetectable by scans) to other areas of the body.
However, the body can, in fact, be cancer-free after treatment - meaning that all cancer cells have been completely eliminated and that cancer won't come back. The reason why cancer is considered to have no cure is because doctors have not yet found a way to guarantee that the cancer doesn't come back and that there are no cancer cells left behind after treatment. So, when someone is deemed free of cancer, doctors say it's "in remission", not "cured", because they have no way of ensuring that they've eliminated the disease in that person that the cancer won't reappear.

The doctor didn't give them a timeframe, gave them hope, but in the end they died as predicted so is false positivity helpful? Maybe if you're depressed but studies have borne out that trying to be happy and positive can be exhausting to patients and doesn't affect the final outcome. This is not not take away from the patients' bravery and dignity.

I think this documentary is beautiful. I also find i have issues with people saying, but they are fighting. Im sure they are. All people with terminal diseases do. Or just disease. But saying that, might make it seem those who die didn't "fight hard enough" ... you can't fight cancer. You can't just beat it by being strong. Some of the strongest people i know died from cancer. Let's normalise, people die. However hard they fight, however sad it was they got sick. I lost my husband when i was 21. He was 26. He battled, he didn't deserve to die. Cancer doesn't care. Its not about "giving your all" or "fighting" .. people get sick. People die. Even those who fight

Yes they are dieting sooner than us or me. But to be more realistic we are dieting slowly but surely we are all going to die in the end.
I feel from the moment we take our first breath technology speakers no the clock starts ticking away.
For many of us we will” die of natural causes and old age but for others life will be cut very very short or short.
They will die of illnesses, accidents, un timely deaths.
This Cancer waits around it’s like it’s in a rush to to erase from our life’s.
Because I am 57 so I could get cancer or get into an accident I am just saying I pray not.
I am blessed everyday that I awake with everything functioning in full meaning no terminal illnesses or accidents have happened to incapacitate me in any way so far so good.
SO Yes I am blessed very I know as long as I got health I have a goldmine diamonds .and I pray my loved also are in great health.
None of are immune to any terminal illnesss or a terrible accident they may take ways our abilities to take totally care of ourselves.
So each day I awake I am alive have all my body working not missing anything it’s a billion dollars won.
I see it that way. I said yes we all die a little tiny bit each and everyday when you are realistic each birthday specially after 50 I feel the count down you know.
But just like all that dome and gloom I hear here about I don’t let all that bring my positive side my spirits down, I don’t forget iam alive healthy and I give pay forward care be kind compassionate move forward work give love unconditionally love is even better.
We can’t ever give up no matter how dark it gets how bad, there is always a silver lining.
Nothing is all horror even with Cancer you either will beat it or you leave with it and do and be the best you can. Move forward and when that day comes t(at it comes.
It’s hard for me to say it , but I have seen my mom dad brother cousin brother in law close friend pass away some from cancer others from heart disease.
So I know to loose them all like was very difficult terrible.
But you know bless you all if your health is good normal bless you all if you see another day with all your capacities intact.
Bless us all when we awake and breath and see the air the sun the rain. Our loved ones, our jobs, our life’s.
These people God keep and bless them always. God bless us all.
